The trio's second release for this Dutch jazz record label rings something akin to enjoying one of life's guilty pleasures. On this effort, highly-regarded pianist Marc Copland realigns with two modern jazz heroes, trumpeter/flugelhornist Kenny Wheeler and guitarist John Abercrombie. The Netherlands-based Challenge label has brought together three masters of the art of harmonious jazz.
