Ablaye Cissoko - Volker Goetze: Amanké Dionti

Cosa potrebbero avere in comune un suonatore di kora senegalese, Ablaye Cissoko, e un trombettista tedesco, Volker Goetze? La risposta non è di sicuro in una sconceria d'osteria né in uno sproloquio da luogo comune.

Certo è che fanno una bella e singolare coppia i due. Hanno iniziato questo viaggio transcontinentale da almeno una decina d'anni (aprivano i concerti di Youssou N'Dour nel 2001). Poi hanno deciso di incidere un disco, Sira (2008), e adesso dopo quattro anni passati a perfezionare un'amicizia musicale, sono ritornati con un CD che sembra un decalogo di magie, un'esaltazione di timbriche e colori musicali inaspettati.

Le prime note della kora in "Kana Maloundi" sanno di rivelazione. La voce pura e cristallina di Cissoko è impertubabile. Si poggia delicatamente su due accordi in minore. Riempie spettri sonori di silenzio e nostalgia. Costringe chi l'ascolta a un'immediata e incondizionata resa a se stessi. Ha un'elegia catartica, purificatrice.

La tromba di Goetze completa gli sfondi, affastella le pause. È lirica quanto basta da concedersi di soffiare nel vento caldo dell'Africa che spesso è crudele e violenta con riti ancestrali le donne senegalesi ("Amanké Dionti").

Sia quando si parla di tolleranza ("Togna") o si concede al cuore una possibilità di essere da guida ("Silo") o quando ancora si parla di drammi esistenziali e natura feroce (il dramma del terremoto in "Haiti") c'è la sensazione che questa musica sia un'oasi di possibilità sotto cieli stellati, penombre e meriggi assolati.
