JAfro is pianist and composer Toru Dodo's adventurous exploration of the deep connections between jazz improvisation and African-inspired rhythms. Featuring bassist Yasushi Nakamura and percussionist Keita Ogawa, the album presents a dynamic trio whose music transcends geographical and stylistic boundaries.
