The eleven tracks all display Simon's trademark writing, with the driving Latin-Jazz of On a Wing and a Dance, and Hey! It's Samba de Hay, through the blues-infused, Jazz-Fusion of Soul of the West, and Celebration March, to the gentle, evocative statements of Ballad of the Blue Waters and Of Myths and Stones.
