Album Description

The first album of original compositions by Welsh (UK) based pianist and composer Simon Deeley. The album has very much a positive, up-beat feel. It perfectly displays Simon's writing style, with tracks in all three genres that combine to make his composing style: Latin-Jazz, Jazz-Fusion and Ballad form. In Crossing Borders, then, there are strong, vibrant Sambas, in-the-groove Jazz-Fusion tracks and evocative, atmospheric ballads.
