From the imagination of double bassist Pedro Molina, "À Procura" ("in search of" or simply "searching") delves into the observation of his own world, those around him, and the emotions that mark a path of adaptation to a new city, culture, climate, and novel experiences. The search, and everything discovered along the way, serves as the starting point for the narrative—unreal, imaginary, and anticipated (or not so much) stories and thoughts that shape this work. This album was recorded on August 28, 2023, at CARA (Centro de Alto Rendimento Artístico) in Matosinhos, Portugal, by João Maya. It was mixed and mastered by André Fernandes at Estudio Timbuktu in Lisbon, Portugal. The graphic art is by mariamónica.com, photos and promotional videos by @minima.musicarte, and it was finally edited and released on January 30, 2024, under the Porta-Jazz label in Oporto, Portugal.
