A collection of photos from the Winter Wondergrass Festival (Tahoe) in Olympic Valley, CA from March 30, 2023 to April 2, 2023 featuring Greensky Bluegrass, Marcus King and Trampled by Turtles headliners.

Winter Wondergrass Music Festival is a unique event that combines bluegrass, roots, and Americana music with craft beer, skiing, and mountain culture. The festival started in 2013 in Colorado and has since expanded to California and Mexico, attracting thousands of fans and musicians who share a love for the outdoors and live music.

This April thousands flocked to Palisades Tahoe to experience the festival's four stages, with both outdoor and indoor venues, where more than 25 bands performed over three days. Some of the headliners for 2023 included Trampled by Turtles, Greensky Bluegrass and Marcus King. In addition to the music, the festival offers daily beer tastings from local and regional breweries, on mountain performances during the day, as well as food trucks, yoga sessions, workshops, and art installations. These offerings combined with a world class resort receiving the highest snowfall in decades made for a special weekend for snow and music enthusiasts alike.

The weekend was filled with great music, many collaborations among artists and a largely diverse musical bill. The first two days brought beautiful weather and the final day finished with a dramatic and building snowstorm as Trampled by Turtles played on the main stage. Beyond the headline acts, the festival continues to attract world class performers including Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway fresh off their Emmy-winning Crooked Tree (Best Blue Grass Album). Pickin on the Dead always draws artist sit-ins and large crowds brimming with happy Deadheads.
