I brani presentati sono noti a tutti e questo disco contribuisce a rinnovarne la fama. L'interessante idea di associare brani italiani a standard sempreverdi ha anche il pregio di fare conoscere un pò di jazz a chi del genere è a digiuno. Non si pensi tuttavia ad un lavoro dozzinale, anzi, con i mezzi tecnici a disposizione, pianisti e cantante, mettono in piedi un disco elegante che riunisce in sè le qualità della facile fruibilità e della brillantezza artistica.
Cosa c'è ancora da aggiungere? Che le canzoni italiane presentate sono dei classici ed in questa veste, insieme a quelle americane, si faranno conoscere anche dal pubblico straniero.
