Debutto folgorante con Rosetta nel 2006, nel 2010 Reclamation album che potremmo definire di assestamento, e ora Twirl, la nuova avventura del trio tutto cordofono.

Siamo di fronte alla prova della maturità, un album nel quale le tre anime del Rosetta Trio—quella più marcatamente jazzistica del leader, quella segnata dalla sperimentazione e da incursioni nell'avanguardia di Liberty Ellman e quella vicina al linguaggio del rock e dalla fusion di Jamie Fox—si fondono, si scambiano, si intrecciano fino a sfumare i propri contorni e sublimarsi in coté musicale ad ampio spettro emotivo ma compatto ed organico come pochi.

Profondità espressiva, empatia ai massimi livelli, flusso comunicativo immediato e mai banale, raffinatezza che non sconfina in derive stucchevoli rendono Twirl un album pienamente riuscito e accessibile, con un brano—"Reclamation Zone"—che rimane nel cuore, acchiappa la mente e si fatica a dimenticare.
