Segnatavi sia il nome del leader che il titolo del CD. Sono una ventata rinfrescante nell'asfittico panorama del jazz, grazie ad una serrata conversazione musicale che vede protagonisti il chitarrista newyorkese ed il celebre sassofonista George Garzone. Linee sghembe e frammentate sul modello tristaniano vanno a rinvigorire fortemente il respiro coltraniano di base, che fanno di Crocco uno dei chitarristi più disinvolti del jazz contemporaneo.

Le sue composizioni lasciano il segno senza cadere nella scia della musica da repertorio, come quasi sempre succede. Il chitarrista tende infatti ad attualizzare i modelli di riferimento, piuttosto che porsi all'ombra dei grandi maestri del passato. C'è in lui una grande padronanza tecnica, unita ad una efficace comunicativa e vis improvvisativa.

Ne discende una miscela esplosiva di classe ed espressività esaltata da una ritmica eccellente. Il suo è un gruppo eccellente che si propone con quella intensità e forza comunicativa degni della più grande tradizione jazzistica, sia nel dispiego delle singoli timbriche che nel gioco d'insieme.
