MUSICIAN Born:

Yuko Mabuchi

Yuko Mabuchi started playing classical piano at age 4, in her hometown of Fukui, Japan. As a teenager she was fascinated by American R&B, Hip-Hop and Blues. After hearing the music of some of the Jazz greats, she fell in love with Jazz and after high school began her study jazz piano. She was soon performing locally as a soloist, and as a member of a local jazz trio. In 2010, Yuko arrived in Los Angeles to further her studies and had the opportunity to perform at some of LAs top venues. Yuko has released three CDs: “Waves” (Vista Records, 2011) “My Life” (Vista Records, 2014) collections of original compositions

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
