Aiskander

AISKANDER – a Polish avant-garde composer, as well as guitarist and music producer. His artistic pseudonym is the Arabic version of his real name (Iskander) preceded by the letter "A". He learned playing keyboard instruments and classical guitar, but his instrumental and composing skills were developed by the musician on his own. The artist performs mainly instrumental jazz-funk, avant-funk and art-pop. The willingness to improve the creative process inspired Aiskander to work on his own material. In mid-2009 Aiskander recorded his first solo album Tysięczna część radości. The opening songs Róża wiatrów, Fantazja and twelve other compositions woven around the melodic sound of a classical guitar announced the direction continued in the next two albums

HANG EM HIGH is band from Switzerland, Austria, and Poland and includes: BOND - Two string bass, live electronics; LUCIEN DUBUIS - baritone sax, bass & contrabass clarinets; and ALFRED VOGEL - drums, pots & pans, junk percussion. Three unique characters with no boundaries. Hot like melted iron, cool as Clint Eastwood. YOLA WESOLOWSKA - composer, singer, pianist, performer . She studied music at the University of Lodz, from which she graduated in 1980. Master's thesis written under the guidance of the great Polish music theorist Prof. Franciszek Wesolowski. She studied composition with prof. Bernard Pietrzak and classical singing with prof. Izabela Kobus. She completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Music in Wrocław. Participation in competitions, festivals and concerts in Poland and abroad incl. Kamil Abt

Kamil Abt is a Polish-Australian jazz guitarist, composer, band-leader and arranger. He is a graduate of the prestigious Elder Conservatorium of Music and has been performing internationally – in Australia, Japan and Europe – for over twenty years. His musical career started in Australia, in Steve Mooney’s hard bop quintet, “Fifth House”. It was there that he also led his own jazz formations: Mosholu Parkway, Jazzyowski and SpeciaL K, also working with musicians such as Adam Page, Daniel J. Ross, Constantinos Koutsouliotas and John Wilson. In Japan he worked in renowned alto saxophone player Hiroshi Yaginuma’s quintet as well as with the Atsushi Matsunaga quartet, while also leading his own quartet

Anna Rejda

Anna Rejda is a vocalist inspired by all forms of art. She studied singing at the faculty of Jazz and Popular Music at the Academy of Music in Katowice as well as French Horn at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. Singularly sophisticated and refined, she leads her own groups as vocalist, arranger, composer and lyricist whilst also taking part in others’ musical projects, singing in various formats, ranging from duos to orchestras and Big Bands. She was a finalist at the International Jazz Vocalists’ Competition in Zamość (Poland) and a semi-finalist at the International Jazz Vocalists’ Competition at Lady Summertime in Finland
