Manon Mullener
Manon Mullener, born in 1997, is a pianist from Fribourg. Born into a musical family with a father and a drummer brother, she began playing the piano at the age of 4 at the Conservatoire de Fribourg. At the age of 17, her love of jazz, and more particularly Latin music, took her to Cuba, where she was able to deepen her knowledge in this field. On her return to Switzerland, she was awarded the Prix de la Spirale in Fribourg. After studying in Fribourg with Richard Pizzorno and Thomas Florin, Manon continued her studies at the Bern University of Music, where she studied with Colin Vallon and Django Bates.

Born and raised in China, Chenxi grew up influenced by a wide range of musical traditions. Her path shifted from literature to music during her early studies, eventually leading her to pursue jazz in New York City. Following her passion, she moved to NYC in 2021, where she worked closely with mentors including Sam Yahel and Sara Serpa, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from The New School. During this time, she performed alongside musicians such as Steve Cardenas, Dave Glasser, Cyrus Chestnut, Armen Donelian, and Fred Hersch.

Born in Iglesias, Sardinia, Laura J Marras began studying the saxophone at the age of eight with the local S. Cecilia Wind Band of Fluminimaggiore, her hometown. After performing extensively as an alto saxophonist across the Cagliari area, she developed a deep passion for jazz and, in 2013, was admitted to the Jazz Department of the G.P. da Palestrina Conservatory in Cagliari, where she earned her degree in Jazz Saxophone with top honors. She first rose to prominence following the success of her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody on Youtube in 2013. The video has reached up over 18 million views to date.
Ariane began her training as a classical pianist at the age of 6, before switching to jazz ten years later. She then went on to study at Cégep St-Laurent, University of Montreal and McGill, where she trained with Lorraine Desmarais, Luc Beaugrand, John Roney and Jean-Michel Pilc.
