Discovered in 2010 by world class jazz pianist and legend, Paul Smith, Lyn Stanley entered singing with the world’s most famous accompanist, Paul Smith and his trio, four months after meeting her. Lyn was born in Tacoma Washington, the same birth town as singers Diane Schuur and Janis Paige. Her dad played piano by ear in the style of Erroll Garner, and Lyn was an attentive listener at an early age. She also had a grandfather who was an opera singer and an uncle who sang tenor roles in local theater groups in Long Beach, CA. Jess Baldwin

Born: October 5, 1980

Musician Jess Baldwin weaves together poetic lyrics, lush harmonies, playful rhythms, and her warm, clear singing voice into dreamy jazz and indie soul compositions and arrangements. In her songwriting, she explores themes of savoring the beautiful and surreal, as well as healing from religious and developmental trauma. Jess’ sets feel like a late night conversation in the corner booth of a speakeasy during that magical hour when most people have gone home and taken their small talk with them. She loves sharing time, space, and good bourbon with dreamers and weirdos. Jess appeared on American Public Television’s Songs at the Center in 2018, NPR's Mountain Stage in 2013, was a quarterfinalist in the 2015 and 2017 American Traditions Competition, and won Best Cover Song in the 2015 and 2017 Ohio Music Awards

Beth Duncan

Sacramento jazz vocalist Beth Duncan has never been one to do things by the book, and her new album I’m All Yours exemplifies the ample creative rewards of grappling with the present moment. Martina Fiserova

New York-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Martina Fišerová channels her love for jazz and authentic storytelling through her original songs, meshing harmonic sophistication with sincere, personal expression. Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Martina has performed with many artists at jazz festivals and venues throughout Europe, as well as in Taiwan and Vietnam. After relocating to New York City in 2013 to further develop her skills, she released an album of her original music, "Shift", in 2015. She has since had the honor of performing at venues and festivals including Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center, New York's Blue Note Jazz Festival, and Prague Proms Festival, among others.

Kitt Moran

Kitt Moran is hardly the first entertainer to include the classics Alfie and Watch What Happens in her repertoire. However, she's probably the only singer ever to have the song's composers - Burt Bacharach and Michel Legrand - accompany her on the piano while she performed the numbers. Most performers would regard moments like those as once-in-a-lifetime experiences. For Kitt Moran, though, it's become all-in-a-night's-work for the singer who was personally selected in 1992 by Merv Griffin, who at the time owned Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, to become the first and only chanteuse-in-residence at Atlantic City's flagship casino gourmet restaurant

Marisa Monte

Born: July 1, 1967

In the early 1980s when rock and roll exploded in Brazil Marisa de Azevedo Monte wanted to be an opera singer. At 14 she started studying lyric singing and took the entrance exam for the National Holiday School but shortly thereafter she discovered she loved Bilie Holiday and the new Brazilian rock as much as Marisa Callas. Carlos Monte, an economist, was a cultural director of the Portela Samba school in the 1970s and introduced her to the finest sambas from Rio de Janeiro. After appearing with fellow students from the Colégio Andrews in a school production of “The Rocky Horror Show” directed by Miguel Falabella

Tanya Saunders

Tanya Saunders studied piano and voice with Lily Dichupa-Alano, Ernie Scott, and the renowned Lillette Jenkins-Weisner. At fourteen, she won the Talented Teen of New Jersey competition, appearing at the Garden State Arts Center. She has performed in many community theater and summer stock productions, and in a European tour of “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “West Side Story.” She has composed and produced two off-Broadway plays. She is currently Director of Music for Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Asbury Park.

Natalie Duncan

Born: November 18, 1988

Natalie's first band was in secondary school and featured herself on drums, which was followed by a plethora of other bands while studying music at college. Natalie went solo at the age of 19 and began performing her own material that she had been crafting throughout her teenage years. In 2010, she was approached by Goldie to work on a music project he was doing with BBC, which led to a fruitful partnership culminating in the single, Freedom. Also in 2010, Natalie caught the attention of Simon Gavin, who saw her perform at a pub in Nottingham and later signed her to Decca Records
