Olivia Foschi

Olivia Foschi was born in San Francisco and grew up in Italy. Although she always loved to sing, she discovered her passion for jazz while studying guitar and Theory of Music with Roy Zimmerman in high school. Her stylistic approach to singing shifted in 2001 when she was given the opportunity to study classical Nepali voice with established singer and composer Aavaas in Katmandu. This experience brought immense musical inspiration and left her eager to explore her voice paying particular attention to color and rhythm. After earning her B.A. in English Literature Cum Laude (John Cabot University, Rome, Italy, 2004), Olivia moved on to study jazz voice with Cecilia Izzi and nonverbal communication with Italian singer/songwriter Grazia DiMichele at the University of Music in Rome

Oleg Frish

Oleg Frish is a native of Russia and naturalized American citizen (2000) who has developed a distinguished career as a noted international celebrity television broadcast host, journalist, recording artist, performer and music historian. Oleg was born in Zaporozhye, the USSR into a family of musicians. His mother, Svetlana Frish, is a pianist and his father, Eugeny Frish, (two sons, Oleg is the first one) was longtime head of the (Seagull choir) and an important member of the artistic community. For Oleg growing up in the Soviet Union had its American culture challenges. EJ Park

Born: January 24, 1983

EJ (Eun Jung) Park was born in Gwangju, South Korea. Her parents were music enthusiasts who filled their home with great music. EJ began piano lessons at the age of five when her preschool teacher discovered her playing melodies on the piano and recommended that she study the instrument. The piano soon played a major role in EJ’s life. She studied classical repertoire, performed in church, and followed her parents' wishes to pursue a career as a classical pianist. They were less enthusiastic when she developed a strong desire to study vocal performance. She attended the University of Cheonnam as a piano major with the agreement that serious vocal studies would begin after graduation

Isabel Stover

Born: August 3, 1970

“Elegant.” "An amazing range." "Continually evolving." These are just a few of the ways audiences describe Stover. She uses her richly textured vocals and mastery of phrasing thoughtfully and purposely as a way of delivering an authentic, heartfelt experience, fearlessly deconstructing musical compositions to their emotional core.

Polly Gibbons

Polly Gibbons is a growing presence in the UK Jazz scene. She has already been nominated twice as "Best Jazz Vocalist" by JAZZ FM and the BBC. Fully embracing the inspiring expansiveness of American Jazz, Blues, Soul and R&B, her career as a vocalist, composer and live performer is influenced by these genres. But Polly is hesitant to define her music as strictly Jazz; her eclectic repertoire and the ease and style with which she performs it, have led her to appear at a variety of music festivals and venues: from the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London opening for George Benson and Gladys Knight, or for Bozz Scaggs at the famous Montreal Jazz Festival

Aili Ikonen

Aili Ikonen is a versatile vocalist living in Helsinki, Finland. Aili is moving fluently across the diverse field of jazz, folk and pop. She has been touring over Europe and Finland, performing in various venues from significant jazz festivals to TV-shows and has been featured as a soloist for i.a. UMO Jazz Orchestra and Norrbotten Big Band. Aili leads her own group Aili Ikonen Ensemble which gave it´s first performance in november 2011 in the new Helsinki Music Centre. In addition to Aili Ikonen Ensemble, she works as a singer and writes music to Kvalda, Hereä and Korpi Ensemble

Song Yi Jeon

Born: August 28, 1984

Hailing from South Korea, Song Yi Jeon is a singer and composer who deftly combines modern jazz harmony and odd time signatures with singable melodies that instantly catch the ear of the listener.

She studied classical composition at the University of Music and Fine Art in Graz, Austria, and Jazz vocals at the Music Academy in Basel, Switzerland and Berklee College of Music in Boston, in the US where she developed her unique sound. Through her background in classical composition, she uses her understanding of harmonic structure to create incomparable improvisations.

In 2013, as the inaugural Quincy Jones CJ&E fellow, she studied at the Berklee College of Music where she was also awarded the Billboard Endowed Award.
