From her beginnings with Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles (the sweethearts of The Apollo Theater, inducted into The Rhythm & Blues Foundations' Hall of Fame in 1999) to Labelle (a trio made up of Patti LaBelle, Nona and Sarah Dash), the groundbreaking rock funk band of the 70s, and followed by a stunning solo career, Nona Hendryx has always been on the cutting edge of music. Her songs are edgy, provocative, political and full of double entendres and empowering messages, which enabled the trio to break the traditional girl group mould. Labelle's stage show was the forerunner of today's epic productions, they were the only contemporary black group to take their 'Wear Something Silver' show to New York's prestigious Metropolitan Opera House and to major theatres and Opera Houses across the world

Growing up in a family of classical musicians and entertainment professionals, Peter began performing at an early age. From cabaret appearances with fellow young performers from the worlds of theater, film and television, he went on to work in commercial advertising jingles and to performances in cabaret and concert venues from New York City to New England and the Midwest. His previous recording work includes collaborations with pianist Lee Musiker (Tony Bennett, Barbara Cook) and nylon string guitar virtuoso Gene Bertoncini (Nancy Wilson, Lena Horne)

Acclaimed Australian jazz vocalist and songwriter Gregg Arthur has built an international career spanning the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Widely regarded as Australia’s premier male jazz vocalist, Gregg is celebrated for his warm baritone, refined phrasing, and charismatic stage presence, bringing timeless standards to life alongside his beautifully crafted original songs.

Gregg’s career highlights include Las Vegas residencies with Vincent Falcone, Frank Sinatra’s musical director, and a long-term residency at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Grill in Bel Air, Los Angeles with Pat Senatore and Tom Ranier. He has appeared at major venues including the Sydney Opera House, State Theatre Sydney, City Recital Hall Sydney, Hamer Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre, and Singapore’s Victoria Theatre. In 2018, he opened the Melbourne International Jazz Festival for Branford Marsalis, and in 2023–24 he toured 22 concerts across Australia with James Morrison and John Morrison’s Swing City Big Band.

JD Souther

Born: November 19, 1945

If you ask John David where he's from, he may say without hesitation, "I'm from Amarillo." But depending on who's asking, he may shrug and say, "I'm from everywhere, I guess." He would be mostly right either way. He was born in Detroit when his father, John Souther, was crooning in front of the big bands of his day, under a stage name, Johnny Warren. His mother hated the fact that "Johnny Warren" wasn't home, and so the singing father stepped halfway out of road life by going to work for MCA as an agent—fascinating for a curious five-year-old John David, who met The Three Sounds, The Mills Brothers, other jazz greats, and the legendary Victor Borge, who once acted as babysitter for the lucky son. Eventually, the family relocated first to Wellington, Dallas, and then to Amarillo, Texas. John David would stay until he left Amarillo College and headed west to Los Angeles.

Alan Bergman

Two of the world's most distinguished lyricists, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, have been contributing to the Great American Songbook for more than five decades. During their distinguished career, their songs have been nominated for sixteen Academy Awards, for which they have won three: "The Windmills of Your Mind" in 1968, "The Way We Were" in 1973, and the score for "Yentl" in 1984. "Windmills" and "The Way We Were" also earned Golden Globe Awards, and "The Way We Were" earned two Grammys. They were the first songwriters to be nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Song out of the five nominated songs, 1983 brought them nominations for "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" from "Best Friends;" "It Might Be You" from "Tootsie;" and "If We Were In Love" from "Yes, Giorgio." In 1984, they again received three nominations: for the score for "Yentl" (for which they were awarded the Oscar) and two for the songs, "The Way He Makes Me Feel" and "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" An original and self taught singer and songwriter originally hailing from Amsterdam, Fridolijn grew up as daughter of two former hippies; her dad a psychotherapist, her mother a world renowned contemporary dancer. Little Fridolijn spent many an afternoon sleeping underneath the grand piano during her mother’s teaching at the Rotterdam Dance Academy. Behind the piano during those lessons was Henk Nichting, a modern classical pianist and composer, heavily influenced by the likes of Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Rachmaninov. It was Henk who gave Fridolijn her first piano books and lessons at the age of six

Dennis DeMille

Born: June 14, 1966

Dennis grew up in Cardiff and developed a love for song, dance and drama at an early age. His first stage appearance at 8 years old was a self choreographed rendition of “I’m a Yankee Doodle dandy’’ in the heart of Tiger bay in Bute town Community Centre, just a few streets away from the birthplace of Shirley Bassey. It was here that he also first experience photography as a child and attended classes in Tap and Jazz dance. At 17 years old he saw an ad in the regional newspaper for a DJ competition. It was for Young Welsh DJ of the year. After practicing what to say between songs and no experience he nervously took to the decks for the very first time on that day and beat experienced contenders to win third place
