Marjoleine Leene

Biography Marjoleine Leene Marjoleine studied vocal jazz/performaning arts at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Her final exam (1999, theater the Tobbe) contained 4 of her own compositions. After her studies in The Hague Marjoleine followed masterclasses and workshops from The New York Voices and Cathrine Sadolin, and levels 1 and 2 in EVTS (Estill Voice Training System). Erik van Lier and Henk Meutgeert about Marjoleine : ´Fantastic vocal talent, great improvisation too´ (jury report bigband competition Velsen 2002). Greetje Kauffeld gave her a compliment for her own composition ´Something has changed!´ during the C.v.A

Atlanta area artists J-Mood are a superb group of classic jazz players specializing in styles of the 40s, 50s and 60s. The core band consists of keyboard wizard and producer John Carrozza, seasoned bassist Joe Reda, veteran percussionist Josh Crosby and vocal siren Jennifer Carrozza. John Carrozza relocated to Atlanta from Florida in 1992 to work as a musician, producer and arranger for Twelve Oaks Studios. He has released a solo album called "Defining Moment", recorded a feature piano part on Boyz II Men's platinum album, "Evolution" and has been a featured soloist with Grammy winning guitar phenom Earl Klugh

Smooth-sounding Lucious Conway and his band Xodus provide a little live jazz in a cozy setting under the stars at 161 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach to Paris Blues on Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd. (7th Avenue) Lucious Conway still sounds smooth but his band has changed. Lucious has performed at the historic Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit, MI where he hails from as well as other notable Jazz venues throughout the country, though always folding at the sign of great success or notoriety. At 51 he is well seasoned and well regarded by Jazz musicians and Jazz lovers as well
