Linda Griner

Linda was born to Richard and Celestine Griner in Washington DC. Her mother was from the British West Indies (Kingston Jamaica) and her father was from Georgia. Linda inherited her vocal talent from her mother and her tenacity from her father who was a great fighter Dick Griner. Who was a light heavy weight champion of the south. She started performing at 8yrs of age singing gospel and traveling summers in small churches throughout the east coast. Linda went to school in DC and attended Howard University in the Nations Capital. She met her first manager Angelo Benedetti who immediately recognized her a talent night at the club he was managing called the Ko Ko Club

Chad Carter

Chad Carter: A Jazz Crooner Reminiscent of the Ellington and Basie Era! A Washington DC native, CHAD CARTER, developed an interest and appreciation for music at an early age, beginning his musical training and education as a member of the D.C. Youth Orchestra playing the viola. He also briefly studied piano. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at Howard University and graduate degree in information technology at Carnegie Mellon University, Chad regularly sang at local clubs in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Brinae Ali

Born: April 15, 1982

Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley’s background in the arts is quite extensive. Her first experience began at age three when she put on her first pair of tap shoes. This introduction ushered in her destiny. Under the guidance of her father, Alfred Bruce Bradley, and the Creative Expressions Dance Studio in Flint, Michigan, her gift and love for music, dance and theatre afforded her the opportunity to enhance and display her talents through a host of venues. Throughout high school, she worked as a choreographer and dance instructor of ballet, jazz, and tap. As well, she ventured into vocal and instrumental music. For the past twenty -one years Bradley has been walking in purpose with a multitude of gifts that was bestowed upon her through heredity and culture

Zan Gardner

Zan Gardner is a professional Jazz and Blues vocalist who is emerging as one of the most unique talents in the Philadelphia tri-state area. She enjoyed a performance schedule at the internationally known Jazz Club "Zanzibar Blue" every week for over 6 years as well as performances at "Ortliebs Jazzhaus" with Fahreed Baron and Mickey Roker, Chris's Jazz Cafe with pianist Sam Dockery (formerly with Betty Carter and Art Blakey), the "Hotel Atop The Bellevue", "River Blues", the Penn Jazz Festival opening for Branford Marsalis and many other venues and festivals. She is most recognized for her highly original musical interpretations and almost baritone vocal techniques which capture her audiences and convey to them the rich emotions of song lyrics and meaning. Her style has been described by one media source as "having the true presence of a performer who lives through her music from a wail to a tender hush". Zan Gardner died in a tragic car accident, May 1, 2007.

Lon Dorsey

Lon "Rosco" Dorsey has been singing Lou Rawls songs since the 1970's, and his wife Nina, and a friend of wife Lana, and nephew Mike who communicates with him often, who is also creating a movie on the life of Lou. Rosco is performing his "Tribute To Lou Rawls" now starting this week in Dallas at the Marti Gras Club/Restaurant on Stemmons Freeway, between Medical Blvd and Inwood Road, in the East Tower. For over 30 years he has worked in broadcast he and Lou Rawls look alike as well. He and Lou were good friends, along with media as a talk show Host in the Texas area. Steve Cromity

Steve Cromity may be new to the New York jazz scene as a performer, but his lifelong passion for the art form began as a boy when he would often lie awake at night listening to the improvisational riffs and wails coming from the popular Bed-Stuy jazz bar downstairs. A Brooklyn native, Steve went on to play drums in junior high and high school, where his appreciation for the music continued to grow. He caught the singing bug in his early twenties after hearing the “godfather” of vocalese, Eddie Jefferson. But thoughts of pursuing that aspiration became a dream deferred. Her frst album "the End of the beginning" was release in 2007 on SiTMoM Records, her second album "Share Your Secret" is due to be released in November of 2011. Adonis Puentes

Born: March 29, 1974

Adonis Puentes has the gift to see both the past and the present of Cuban music. And,on Vida, his solo debut, he shows that he is uniquely qualified to straddle the generations, embodying a contemporary vision of a true Cuban Sonora. Such a gift cannot be acquired or cultured, you have to been born with it, as was Adonis and his fraternal twin brother, Alexis on March 29th, 1974 in Havana, Cuba, sons of guitar player and instructor, Valentin Puentes.
