Ursula Walker

Ursula Walker has been a mainstay of the Detroit music world for 54 years, beginning at the age of eleven on Detroit television and radio. Pursuing her career in her hometown while raising four children, her outstanding talents as a unique stylist of ballads, standards, and jazz gained her national recognition among her peers.

In the 60s, 70s, and 80s Ursula fielded many offers to tour nationally with many notable musicians such as Stan Kenton, the Harry James Band, Count Basie, and Tony Bennett. Over the years she has performed at countless clubs, concerts, and festivals, frequently at the Detroit International Jazz Festival

Elina Vasiltchikova

Born in Baku, Azerbajan (former USSR), Elina Vasiltchikova has been living and performing in the US since 1990. For the past 15 years, along with her singing career, Elina worked as an educator. She has brought up a generation of talented vocalists while teaching "Voice Technique Class" at the Jazz Faculty of The New School University in New York.

In The US Elina worked and performed with such musicians as Joe Locke, Harvie S, Benny Golson, Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, Reggie Workman, Cliff Korman, Valtinho Anastasio, Mike Campenni and Chembo Corniel, Cafe, Willie Martinez, Otmaro Ruiz and Aaron Serfaty

Barbara Fowler

No stranger to the music industry, Barbara's recording career began as the lead vocalist of the trio Sinnamon, whose chart topper "Thanks to You" soared to #1 on Billboard's Dance Chart, followed by "Knocking On My Door" which reached #8 on the European charts. Barbara's stellar performance on her 2005 debut CD, Soulful Reflections, is an eclectic mix of R&B, Jazz and Pop that delivers the musical goods and reveals range, originality and style. Doug Ferony

Born: July 4, 1958

Doug Ferony is from the same school of singers that produced the talents from whom he took his performing lead: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Bobby Darin. He is comfortable with a repertoire of tried and true standards & traditional pop, bringing to these warhorses some fresh ideas.

Doug has been pleasing audiences for years with his delivery of many traditional pop, rock, swinging standards and love songs. Singing at many different events, concerts and venues every year, Doug sends his songs out to his listeners with passion, warmth, fun and excitement. Normally performing with his 12 piece swing band and well orchestrated arrangements, these great songs are covered very well.

Doug has also produced and performed in Concerts with many recording stars including Al Martino, Jimmy Sturr Orchestra, Dena DeRose, Joey Adams, Martha & The Vandellas and Comedian Joseph Anthony.

Carrie Jackson

Born: August 25, 1959

Ms. Carrie Jackson & Her Jazzin' All Star Ensemble swings and performs the music of "Duke" Ellington, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong, Miles, Coltrane, Diz and the Great American Song Book. Carrie attributes her vocal style of singing to her mentors, the Great Ladies of Jazz, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Dinah Washington, and Carmen Mc Rae, but, Carrie truly has a Jazzin' style that is uniquely her own. She has a sound that is honey laden, soulful , sultry, and sings a pop, and blues tune that has a poignant mellow sound; her timing is right on and the subtle twists and turns in her phrasing make her that comparatively rarity, a real jazz singer with a great Sound!!

Viktoria Tolstoy

The Swedish singer Viktoria Tolstoy was born in the small town of Sigtuna, near Stockholm, in 1974, but she has Russian blood in her veins. Her great-grandfather, the son of the world-famous writer Leo Tolstoy, grew up in Tsarist Russia. He suffered from a nervous illness, sought medical help from a famous Swedish specialist, fell in love with the specialist’s daughter, married her and settled in Sweden at the end of the 19th century. Since then the ancestors of Viktoria, the greatgreat-granddaughter of the legendary novelist, have lived in Sweden. Viktoria’s childhood and adolescence were spent in Uppsala

Sarah Gromko

Born: July 6, 1977

Compared with Sarah Vaughan, Patsy Cline, K.D. Lang, and Annie Ross by professional musicians and critics alike, Sarah Gromko’s vocals “show a deep sense of artistic maturity.” Her debut recording as a bandleader was nationally recognized as “intimate,” “eclectic,” and “undeniably killer.” The attention led to a licensing contract with Rescue Records.

Gromko’s live work focuses on original compositions and modern arrangements reminiscent of the fusion of jazz and rock in the ’60s when jazz harmony, syncopation, groove changes, and odd meters/phrasing melded into a new genre. Unlike the instrumental and synthetic direction fusion took into the 70s and 80s, she writes emotional melodies and lyrics that emphasize her wide vocal range and colors but focus the listener on the story more than the virtuosity of the songs’ individual players.
