In 2007, her singing career was launched with her one woman show "It's About Damn Time" and has climbed steadily with critically acclaimed shows at some of the finest venues on both coasts. Amanda is a classic chanteuse who performs little known gems from the 1930’s and 40’s, as well as jazz standards and popular songs from the Great American Songbook

Ellen Starr

Born in Brooklyn, the multifaceted Ellen Starr has long been a mainstay of the New York jazz scene. She has performed in many of New York top jazz clubs including 55Bar and Sweet Rhythm, leading her own quartet featuring Joel Frahm on tenor sax, Alvester Garnett on drums, and Paul Beaudry on bass. Her original tune "Starrburst" was recorded by Houston Person on "Blue Odyssey" for Prestige Records, with Cedar Walton on piano. The song has been published in the "Real Easy Book, Tunes for Intermediate Improvisers, Vol.2," by the Stanford Jazz Workshop (Sher Music). Ellen began her performance career as a jazz pianist and singer, but became active in the worlds of pop music, radio and TV advertising

Suzy Dalton

Born: March 1

Vocalist Suzy Dalton has followed an unlikely path to the world of jazz. She began her music career touring with a country band as a vocalist and bass guitarist, sharing the stage with country legends like Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, and Loretta Lynn. But a stint playing bass for a blues band re-ignited her desire to sing the music with which she was raised. "I grew up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughan, and was attracted to the raw emotion that jazz singers wring from a song." She lists her strongest influences as Sarah Vaughan, Diana Krall, and Eartha Kitt

Sara Coleman

Born: March 1, 1982

Sara Coleman is a pure, powerful and soulful vocalist. She is trying to work on original material to make her debut CD consisting of blues/jazz/R&B - which is her heart and forte. She is also very willing to collaborate with people, and/or sing other peoples music, and meet new people. Sara also enjoys composing songs that fall in the categories of production type pieces and classical music - and likes composing music that is not in common 4/4 time. In the mean time, she has a few cover songs that she sang up on her page for you to hear. Sara has sang in clubs/bars/weddings/parties/DC cruise ships and currently continues to do so

Simon Lawrence

Born: January 26, 1980

Simon is fast becoming one the UK's top up and coming crooners and jazz composers. Since 2001 Simon has been writing and performing swing jazz in London venues including 606 Club, 100 Club, Soho Theatre, The BBC Club, The Big Chill, The Crypt, Hoxton Hall and Jazz After Dark. He has also performed for top corporate clients including Pepsi, Prudential and DeBeers Diamonds. Although Simon enjoys singing jazz standards, what he is really about is writing his own original jazz songs inspired by the writers he loves like Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and Jimmy Van Heusen. In this way Simon is hoping to create jazz songs for a new generation without them being 'pop jazz'

Ladies Night Out

LADIES’ NIGHT OUT, a female vocal jazz group,has charmed audiences for years with their distinctive blend of sweet harmonies and swinging rhythms. Inspired by the Boswell Sisters and Andrews Sisters, they have put their own mark on the art of group singing. The Ladies combine vintage jazz standards with blues, gospel, pop, and a touch of doowop thrown in for fun, for a lively show where the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy meets the Boy from New York City, where Stars Fall On Alabama, and where everyone gets In The Mood. “Big Dave” McConnell Like many of music's greats, “Big Dave” started his career early in life. As a military kid, little “Big Dave” started singing in public at German pubs on his father's knee, singing “Ein Beer Bitte” to the locals. At ten-years-old, his father was stationed in the Philippines while in the Air Force. Dave performed the Monkee's hit, “Sleepy Jean” for his 5th Grade class and blew them away. While performing, he noticed the smiles of the pretty girls in the audience. It was that moment when he thought, “Hey, I can do this!” and decided to pursue a career in music. Andrea Tierra

Andrea Tierra is a singer-songwriter from Medellin, Colombia. She has been performing traditional Colombian music since the age of twelve. Andrea is the result of innovative mix of popular Latin-American rhythms with jazz, flamenco and the essence of her own poems which she brings to life on all her performances. Her songs are progressive with a shade of irony and are often politicized against world injustice. Her contralto voice touches the hearts of the audiences with her interpretations of contemporary love songs as well as new generation songs.
