Liz Cass

Liz Cass is an exciting young vocalist emerging on the London Jazz scene. It is not only for her stunning looks and velvety vocals, but her unique and captivating performance style. Inspired by movies and old-style glamour, she brings something new and special to her repertoire of classic Jazz songs. Liz has been performing jazz for over four years in the UK and abroad. Her start in music was co-writing and recording pop, collaborating with various London producers, but her interest in Jazz lured her away, and in 2004 she left for Sydney, and on arrival began networking and meeting musicians with the hope of kick-starting a Jazz career

Devyn Rush

Born: January 25, 1990

Devyn Valerie Rush was born on January 25, 1990 in Philadelphia, PA. By the age of six months, Devyn was saying “Hi!” to people in the supermarket, and singing followed shortly after. It didn’t take long before the “Powers to be” noticed her talent and began booking her for commercials and print ads. She made her first commercial at the age of six months. Since then, Devyn’s résumé has filled up with a long list of accomplishments, which includes extensive theater credits. She has been making good use of her young life. Devyn began to gain a reputation among agents and other “big wheels” in the industry, as being a very charismatic and naturally-talented child

T-ka

Born and based in Paris, T-ka (out of the Indian Tikka symbol she is wearing on her forehead) starts to compose pop melodies in 2000 that she accompanies with her soulful voice. She writes in English that she speaks fluently. She starts to play her compositions solo with her piano in Lille, Paris, Séoul and New-York.

In 2004, she opens for Maceo Parker in Paris. She then finds musicians to accompany her on stage. With them, she self-produces a 10-tracks studio album in June 2006.

She wins Nouv’elles 2007 bands contest in 2007 and opens for Tower of Power, Malia and Robin Thicke. She also plays in great festivals: Enghien Jazz Festival, Solidays, Muzik’elles and also in London and Amsterdam.

Kemba Cofield

Born: August 2, 1972

Sylvia Brooks

The path that led Sylvia Brooks back to her jazz roots provided her with plenty of dramatic stories to tell. Possessing a sumptuous, velvet-rich voice, she’s earned critical raves for each of her four albums, including 2022’s Signature, which marked her emergence as a gifted songwriter. Her emotionally direct delivery imbues the music with bracing honesty and keen emotional intelligence.

Brooks came to music as a birthright. Her father, pianist/arranger Don Ippolito, was a first-call jazz accompanist who performed with giants such as Stan Getz, Buddy Rich, Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughan and Dizzy Gillespie. Her mother, Johanna Dordick, was a conservatory-trained opera singer who also dazzled audiences singing standards and pop tunes at East Coast night clubs and resorts (she went on to found the Los Angeles Opera Theater in 1978).

Grace Black

Born: May 30, 1960

I began singing jazz at the ripe old age of 46 in 2006, taking lessons from a great jazz pianist and vocal coach called George King. A few months after I started lessons I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had to give up for 7 months while undergoing treatment. After I got the all clear in May 2007 I decided to change to working part time and pursue a semi professional singing career as well as raising money for Cancer Research UK and I have since done 4 concerts and recorded a cd to benefit the charity. Brandi Disterheft

Jazz bassist Brandi Disterheft relocated to NYC to begin an apprenticeship under Miles Davis' bassist Ron Carter. It’s not only her fiery bass playing that make audiences stand-up and holler, but also her innovative live shows showcasing her uptempo, swinging originals and ambient voice. Her mother, a Chicago-born jazz B3 organist who opened for acts such as the Supremes and Carlos Jobim in the 1960's, trained Brandi's ears from the tender age of 5 when she began classical piano studies; yet, her Aunt a GRAMMY WINNING session singer in LA (Claire Fischer, Sergio Mendez) encouraged Brandi to sing. Winning a JUNO (Canadian Grammy) for her “Debut” album, Brandi had the honor to be the bassist for the legendary Hank Jones on the album “Pleased to Meet You” and has since captivated international audiences at jazz festivals in Japan, Haiti, Canada, Europe, USA and at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, and the Vienna Opera House
