He sings straight from the heart but if you listen closely, there lies some immaculate technique and maturity under all that unchecked emotion. He's dabbled in a myriad of genres from rock to chinese pop music and now he's put out a back-to-basics jazz album. You just can't help but wonder what he's gonna do next. Hanjin is a “Jack of all trades”, and there are only a few in Asia. He is an award-winning record producer and songwriter, a trend-setting arranger and mixer, as well as an acclaimed singer

T. Nathan Mickle

Born: October 31, 1988

T. Nathan Mickle grew up in a plane and in a car. As of right now, he is based in Oklahoma City. He is the pianist and a vocalist for the Oklahoma City University Jazz Band. Right now, he is currently booking shows in the greater Oklahoma City area with the T.J. Holliday combo, a jazz/blues/pop group comprised of Nathan Mickle, piano/vocals; Sam Holliday, bass; Ryan Steadley, guitar; Jeremy Schroeder, drums. Much inspired by Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr., singer- songwriter Nathan Mickle’s voice is reminiscent of classic crooners.

Rod Jeffery

Born: June 14, 1952

Rod has been singing professionally for something in excess of 25 years and is regarded by both his fans and musical peers alike as being one of the finest blues singers in the country. he has been described by Dr. (A.J.) Bruce Johnson, jazz trumpeter and author of the 'Oxford Companion to Australian Jazz', as singing "the most heartfelt version, since the original was done by Billie Holiday" of the classic jazz tune, 'God Bless The Child', which appears on the recent U.K. release of the CD album, 'Tony Barnard’s All Hat Jazz'. Recorded in Sydney in 1990 and receiving a great deal of airtime and acclaim on the BBC jazz programs, the album also features Rod on two other tracks, both written by himself, that also appear on the Beachhead's Blues cassette released locally, and independently, in December 1993

Janet Stevenson

Born: March 20

Janet’s passion for the music is shaped by a lifetime of listening to and performing jazz, and an education from some of its finest performers. She credits her sense of swing, great ears and pitch to her father, a jazz drummer who insisted that she study piano before learning to sing. Janet's talent was first recognized by world-renowned bassist Cleveland ("Cleve") Eaton, and she began singing regularly both with Eaton's band and with other jazz musicians in Birmingham, Alabama. She credits vocalists Shirley Horn, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Carmen McRae as major musical influences

Ute Lemper’s career is vast and varied. She has made her mark on the stage, in films, in concert and as a unique recording artist on more than 30 CDs over 40 years of career. She has been universally praised for her interpretations of Berlin Cabaret Songs, the works of Kurt Weill and Berthold Brecht and the Chansons of Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Léo Ferré, Jacques Prevert, Nino Rota, Astor Piazzolla many others and also her own compositions, as well as her portrayals in musicals and plays on Broadway, in Paris, Berlin and in London’s West End. Despite a longstanding love of jazz having spent hours as a teenager pouring over old jazz records and guest singing with various big bands it wasn’t until a meeting with jazz pianist John Bowman in 2007 that Martyna found her own voice in Jazz and has continued to develop it ever since

Melissa Morgan

Melissa Morgan - vocalist Melissa Morgan is a newcomer with an old-school pedigree. Her earliest exposure to jazz was by way of her grandmother’s record collection when she was growing up. Some of the first jazz voices she ever heard from among those old LPs �" Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson �" were also some of the greatest. Two decades after first hearing those classic voices, Morgan’s tastes still run to that heyday of the great jazz divas. Her debut recording, “Until I Met You” for Telarc, captures that organic, old-school sensibility and reintroduces it to an entirely new generation of listeners. Melissa Morgan was born in New York City and grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey

Jozee Devoua

A repeat performer at the Ottawa International Jazz Festival, Jozée has also performed on most major stages of the National Capital Region. In November 2013, Jozée Devoua & Swing Addiction will release their new Christmas cd: Jazz Winterlude. In 2007, Jozée’s launched her debut album “Low Key”. Breathing new life into jazz standards, it is an eclectic mix of traditional swing, blues, and latin. To date, it has sold in over a dozen countries. Fluent in French and English, she also sings in Spanish and Portuguese to answer to the versatility of her repertoire that includes both the established standards of yesteryear as well as today’s modern classics

Margie Nott

Margie Notte is one of the finest vocalists to appear on the New Jersey scene. Her talents make her equally at home performing old-fashioned love songs, pop songs, bossa novas and swinging jazz in the style of the great masters. Margie is from Orange, New Jersey where she was exposed to a wide variety of music. She is the youngest of three sisters, all exposed to the classic American songbook, as performed by Louis Armstrong, Dinah Washington and Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few. It is no wonder that her phrasing and song choices are impeccable.
