Danielle Freeman’s music is neo-baroque, expansive in improvisation and jazz form. Freeman's quintet, Ladies and Gentlemen, is a unification of opera vocalization, syllabic improvisation, jazz harmony and experimental freedom. She has been described as a forward thinking vocalist of jazz influence. She also leads and composes for an acoustic bass and voice duo. The duo is an intimate musical setting, allowing freedom for the voice and the bass to interchange harmony, bass figured line and melody. Yvette Norwood-Tiger

Award-wining international jazz vocalist, recording artist, songwriter, Recording Academy (GRAMMY) voting member, and founder/director of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival (www.pbijf.org) is a Detroit, Michigan native who hails from a family of musicians, including a father who played guitar and a mother who played drums.   In addition to original jazz compositions, her CDs feature music from great composers such as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, the Gershwins, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, and others. Yvette’s last released CD, LOVE IS, stayed on JAZZWEEK'S charts for over twelve weeks.  

Jacqueline Hopkins

Born: September 17, 1974

Ever since she was a little girl, Jacqueline Hopkins has been writing lyrics and composing music. In 2001, she decided to turn her passion into a profession. Her band is full of jazz legends: Flutist Elise Wood, leader of the all-stars that comprise the John Hicks Legacy Band; Bassist Hilliard "Hill" Greene, musical director for Jimmy Scott and the Jazz Expressions; Trumpet Player Antoine Drye, who has worked with artists ranging from Ellis Marsalis and Brand New Heavies, to Wilson Picket and Daniel Lewis, to name just a few. Drummer Caroline Taylor, who previously lived and worked in England, has performed her original composition for Queen Elizabeth II with the Caroline Taylor Quintet

Growing up in the neighborhoods of Boston, MA, Minerva was exposed to an eclectic collection of music. From her roots of Latin music to music that is steeped in a Jazz influence, Soul, R&B to Rock, Country and Folk . Now she is looking to fulfill her dream to sing and record songs that she herself writes. Minerva composes songs of love and the heartache that sometimes accompanies it. Songs about childhood dreams and adult mysteries and anything else that has touched her in some form or another. Minerva embraces all styles of music.

Courtney Fortune

Born: December 16, 1987

Hailing from the small town of Bellingham, Washington, twenty one year old Courtney Fortune began cultivating her musical niche and crossover style at an early age while performing at venues in Seattle. As her music blossomed she found a loyal and enthusiastic following in Japan and the UK, playing sold-out shows in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe and an array of clubs across London. After moving to Los Angeles she started her collaboration with four-time Grammy nominated composer/arranger Chris Walden, chosen as the featured vocalist for The Chris Walden Big Band and lyricist for a number of pop, jazz, and folk projects

Conchita Castillo

Music has been a passion and a constant in Conchita's life since birth and probably before. Both her parents are great music lovers and, like her, have always been singing or whistling around the house. Conchita started singing in choirs as a child and has always been fascinated by harmonies. Funnily enough, it is only later in life that she started appreciating jazz, which has quickly become her favourite genre! Presently, Conchita is the vocalist in a jazz band and a folk band, and she also sings with a medieval ensemble.
