Born: February 22, 1991

Jessie Kol is a young Jazz singer and vocalist. Originally from Washington, D.C., Jessie grew up in Raleigh, NC where she started her musical journey at the age of 12, when she began vocal lessons at a local performing arts studio. It was not long after starting vocal lessons that Jessie realized she really enjoyed singing and was soon offered the opportunity to record several demo records that would be used as "Christmas gifts" for friends and relatives. A few years later, Jessie was given another opportunity to expand her musical experience and was asked to come to Franklin (Nashville), TN to record demos with friend and producer Perry Sorensen

Harry Schulz

Born: February 9, 1962

Harry was born in a suburb of New York City where he first began listening to old jazz and Fred Astaire recordings at home as a kid. As a teenager he taught himself to sing a Louis Armstrong trumpet solo from a track of "Ain't Misbehavin'” and scatted with a Benny Goodman recording of “Crazy Rhythm". He didn’t know it but he was on his way to becoming a bona fide jazz singer. He went to Swarthmore College where he sang with an the cappella octet “16 Feet” travelling to colleges and Universities on the East Coast to perform and cutting an LP with that group in his senior year, his first recording experience

Cecile McLorin Salvant

Born: August 28, 1989

Cécile McLorin Salvant was born and raised in Miami, Florida of a French mother and a Haitian father. She started classical piano studies at 5, and began singing in the Miami Choral Society at 8. Early on, she developed an interest in classical voice, began studying with private instructors, and later with Edward Walker, vocal teacher at the University of Miami. In 2007, Cécile moved to Aix-en-Provence, France, to study law as well as classical and baroque voice at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory. It was in Aix-en-Provence, with reedist and teacher Jean-François Bonnel, that she started learning about improvisation, instrumental and vocal repertoire ranging from the 1910s on, and sang with her first band
