Nancy Erickson Lamont

Nancy Erickson Lamont, a seasoned jazz vocalist who studied with the renowned jazz instructor Frank DeMiero, has been leaving her mark on Seattle's music scene for over three decades. Her impressive vocal range, lush alto, and distinctive approach to the jazz tradition have captivated audiences and earned her a reputation as one of the city's most engaging and natural vocalists. On May 10, 2024, Nancy unveiled her fourth studio album, Through the Passages, produced by the acclaimed Grammy-winning, twice nominated vocalist and producer Johnaye Kendrick.

Featuring an array of jazz talent, including lauded pianist-composer-bandleader Josh Nelson (Natalie Cole, Sara Gazarek), Sean Jones (Jimmy Heath, Dianne Reeves), pianist Shawn Schlogel, bassists Chris Symer and Michael Glynn (Cory Weeds, Dave Grusin), and drummer Stefan Schatz (Jon Hendricks, The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra), Through the Passages is a contemplative collection of original songs exploring life’s miraculous and mysterious seasons. Nancy’s first record of originals, written in collaboration with Schlogel and pianist Darin Clendenin, Through the Passages draws its lyrics from poems Lamont has written throughout the last 10 years of life transitions.

Bogna Kicinska

Bogna Kicinska - jazz vocalist, composer and educator, originally from Poland. 

Highly regarded on the NYC jazz scene for her exceptional vocal skills, she has been part of many notable projects, including the acclaimed Joseph C. Phillips Jr.’s Numinous Ensemble (whose recording The Grey Land was named one of The 25 Best Classical Music Tracks of 2020 by The New York Times), Manuel Valera’s album “Distancia”, Rafal Sarnecki’s albums “Cat’s Dream” and Climbing Trees”, Kuba Cichocki’s “Flowing Circles” (Downbeat Magazine called it a “stirring performance”), performing with John Benitez, Gene Ess, and Gabriel Guerrero. She has also collaborated with such artists as: Luis Perdomo, Manuel Valera, Silvano Monasterios, Brian Woodruff.

Yuzima

Bonafied rock and pop singer-songwriter Yuzima is definitely making waves. Early in 2010 he released his debut album, Its Wonderful. Only after releasing songs from it bit-by-bit, building up a buzz, when the genre bending cd hit, he quickly sold out of them. Twenty-three-year old vocalist, lyricist and composer Lisa Janine Gary hails from a musical household in New York. She grew up surrounded by her father’s passion for jazz. At the age of 9 she began her music studies on the trumpet under his primary instruction. “It was the best time of my life when the three of us: Dad, my brother, and I sat around playing trumpet trios all day. My family always bonded through the music”. After years of playing both classical and jazz trumpet, Lisa was drawn to the art of vocal jazz at the age of 16 and soon after was honored by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts in their Vocal Jazz category. Born in Dublin, Melanie comes from a dynasty of musicians and actors. Treading the boards from an early age as an actress and singer, she quickly became a multiple award-winning singer in Dublin’s Feis Ceol competitions. Melanie had a precocious passion for jazz; by age 11, she was immersing herself in the rhythms and scat improvisations of Ella Fitzgerald as well as the music of other jazz giants such as Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie
