BioVenezuelan born Alí Bello has become one of the most dazzling and sought after violinists, distinguishing himself for his versatility among different music styles in addition to his well-found classical training and multidimensional improvisational skills. Since his surge from El Sistema, the musical education program of his country, and after building upon years of experience in New York, he has become a Latin jazz music figure to be reckoned with.During his career, Alí has collaborated and performed with such figures as Johnny Pacheco, Eddie Palmieri, and Paquito D’Rivera. He has also recorded with bands of great tradition such as Orquesta Broadway and Africando as well as modern fusion bands like Alfredo Naranjo y El Guajeo, La Clave Secreta, and Los Jóvenes del Barrio.It is much beyond the amazing Afro Latin rhythms that Alí’s strings reach. He has become a sultry sound in tango, regularly performing with Grammy winner bandoneonist Raul Jaurena, and a regular collaborator on scores with flamenco guitarist Pedro Cortés. His repertoire expands even further to include gypsy jazz and American folk music, as a member of the touring quintet Doc Severinsen & El Ritmo De La Vida. He has also infused the violin into the popular rhythms of R&B, performing live with The Roots, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z. Alí can be heard arranging and collaborating dance beats with Grammy winner producer Louie Vega and artists Anané and Luisito Quintero, as well as recording with award winning groups Aventura and Don Omar. Leonardo Suarez Paz

Violinist Leonardo Suarez-Paz is among the most sought after musicians world-wide in the area of Argentinean Tango. He also remains one of the violinists of choice in the field of Jazz and classical music. Born in 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Leonardo attended Juan Manuel de Falla Conservatory, while simultaneously studying with maestros Miguel A. Bertero, Saul Costentino and Patience Higgins of the Duke Ellington band. He subsequently performed with the main orchestras in Buenos Aires, including Estable del Teatro Colon. From 1990 to 1997 Leonardo was engaged as a violin soloist with numerous international orchestras and companies

Laura Leary

Florida native Laura Leary is a classically trained violinist, now based in Southwest Florida, who plays and sings an eclectic mix of bluegrass, folk and jazz. While a member of the violin section of the Jacksonville Symphony she played pops concerts with Arthur Fiedler, Beverly Sills and Benny Goodman. While studying violin in Switzerland she joined an Irish band which performed at the country's major folk festivals. Upon her return to the US Laura started her own group. The 5-piece band played a mix of bluegrass, folk and rock and performed at Busch Gardens Tampa and at major clubs in the Tampa area

Award-winning band leader, Trevor Dick, is a jazz/world/pop/classical crossover violinist and composer, whose style evokes the sound of Jean Luc Ponty, Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Mark Wood, Mark O’Connor, Jerry Goodman and Hugh Marsh all rolled into one. He also has a unique feather in his cap: he is the performer of The Weather Network “Local East Coast Back Beat” theme. Violinist and composer Irene Kepl studied classical violin and jazz in Linz/AT and she now lives in Vienna. Her work focuses primarily on contemporary classical music, free improvisation and composition but also includes Jazz and groove based music. Luiz Moretto is a violinist, double bass, fiddle player and composer living in London. His compositions incorporate ethnic elements of rhythm and timbre into the open/closed structures of jazz and Brazilian music reflecting the spontaneity of free experimentation. Luiz has been inspired by the music traditions of bowed string instruments from Africa and Brazil, which are part of his current research. He was born in Bauru (Tupy-Guarany indigenous name to fruit-flower basket), Brazil. First studying music at home with his older sister Dolores, a piano teacher, Luiz received a bachelor degree in classical music from UDESC (State University of Santa Catarina - Brasil) in the year of 1998

Boris Savchuk

Boris Savchuk, a virtuoso violinist, is an internationally recognized performance and recording artist. Classically trained, he plays viola and violin and specializes in Jazz, Improvisational, Latin and Jewish (Klezmer, Yiddish, Chassidic, and Traditional Jewish music rooted in Eastern European culture) music. Boris was born in 1948 in the Ukraine and began studying music at the age of six. Boris immigrated with his family to Israel in the fall of 1990 and now lives near Ashdod. He has made seven CD’s in Israel, eight albums in the US, and is frequently featured as a guest artist with other musicians and vocalists

Motivated by a diverse musical palate and burning passion to connect with people of all creeds through his music, violinist Benjamin Sutin finds himself in the most culturally varied city in the world, New York City. Since arriving here four years ago Benjamin has performed in Pandit Samir Chatterjee’s Robithakur (A Ballet on the Life of Tagore) at NJPAC’s Victoria Theater in November 2011, with drummer Ronnie Burrage, pianists George Burton and Benito Gonzalez, and most recently with Afro-Cuban pianist Larry Harlow and his restoration of Hommy - A Latin Opera at Lincoln Center Outdoors in July of 2014
