RockTronix

The RockTronix is a touring Rock Band fused with Electronica elements. Individually, each member of The RockTronix have worked with a "who's who" of artist's/musician's in the entertainment and music business. In 2014, they collectively formed and recorded their debut CD, "Magnificent Obsession CD" (To be released forthcoming on Blue Canoe Records). Additionally, the entire process was documented in a 43 min. Documentary Movie dubbed by the same name, "Magnificent Obsession DVD".

Joe Hakim - Musician/Educator/Composer Joe Hakim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from William Paterson University's Jazz Studies Program under the tutelage of the world renowned Rufus Reid, graduating Cum Laude. During this time, Joe won First Place in Downbeat Magazine’s student competition. He majored in Double Bass, studying with the Grammy-winning Dr. Todd Coolman, and minored in Piano, studying with Noreen Lienhard. Joe also had the opportunity to take lessons with the legendary Dave Holland, a leading force in the jazz world for over 40 years. While in school, Joe had the chance to study and perform with such luminaries as Mulgrew Miller, Vic Juris, Horacee Arnold, John Rielly, Armen Donelian, Harold Mabern, Jim McNeely, Paul Myers, Steve Wilson, Ralph Peterson, and Dave Samuels

The Jazz Professors are a top-charting (JazzWeek) sextet composed of real professors from the rising star in music education, the program in Jazz Studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Theo Jorgensmann & Albrecht Maurer - Duo Melencolia

20 years of collaboration as a duo. Theo Jörgensmann and Albrecht Maurer met 1992 in a broadcasting project of Deutschlandfunk by the German/Spanish composer Maria de Alvear. Shortly afterwoods Theo Jörgensmann founded his Werkschau Ensemble, a quintet featuring Donja Djember on cello, Rainald Schückens on bass clarinet, Achim Krämer on drums and Albrecht Maurer on violin. This group played on many festivals, did radio productions and released a CD on Konnex Records. It was a leading group in Germany in the early nineties combining jazz, chamber music and free improvisation with a unique sound

Barcelona Jazz Orquestra

The first permanent Big Band in Barcelona The aim of the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra is to bring jazz closer to the general public, respecting the accuracy and proximity typical of the genre. The BJO combines tradition and innovation, merging a classic repertoire - Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Dizzy Gillespie - with a great variety of contemporary composers and arrangers. The great musicians who accompany the orchestra and the excellent combination of repertoires make this band approachable to both jazz lovers (either classical or modern) and to people who have never listened to jazz before, and even to children, as we are working to introduce jazz in schools. The BJO performs regularly on stages all over Spain and France including for example the San Javier Jazz Festival, Marbella, San Sebastián, Lleida, Xàbia, Foix, Ramatuelle and Marciac
