Living Bridge

A Living Bridge is constructed by patiently guiding the growth of trees over time to create a pathway that strengthens as it develops. Chicago musicians Artie Black and Jeff Swanson formed the group Living Bridge in 2012 to connect their experiences as composers, improvisers, and people. Their original music creates a simmering intensity that each musician helps to grow- as a group, their goal is to create a dynamic pathway between listener and performer.
