Smooth and beautiful music with influences of different styles and textures in jazz (rock),latin and fusion . Based on his fuchija® concept . Quiet Storm describes a mood of music and is not really a style as such, although some artists produce their music specifically for this market. Drawing from soul, jazz-latin fusion and smooth jazz styles, Quiet Storm's seductive appeal surfaced in the 80s and like rare groove is not restricted to any particular era. Some tracks are soul structured songs, but others have no strong or catchy melody lines, relying instead on a subtle ongoing groove with solos fading in and out. Always slick, polished and lush sounding, it has remained popular.

Fusing the sounds of R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Gospel into one soulful experience, The Chapter, with their self-titled debut album is taking the world by storm! The Chapter consists of six talented vocalists and musicians with diverse and extensive musical backgrounds (see individual bios). The six members: Adrian "Ace-Man" Morris, Patricia Whitfield, Slater Thorpe, Darius "Doc D" Baker, Michael Ferguson, and Taurus Lovely, met each other in Tallahassee, Florida while attending Florida A&M University and performing in the live soul musical cabaret entitled "The Phat Cat Live!" After many years of performing in the Phat Cat Live Soul Music Cabaret and various contributions to the "Make It Phat Baby" album by The Phat Cat Players, these six artists; Adrian, Patricia, Slater, Darius, Mike and Taurus, would form a bond sealed together with their love for music that eventually led to the birth of The Chapter! Since their immaculate conception in the summer of 2001 until now, The Chapter has made numerous appearances

Carlos Bernardo

Born: December 2, 1971

Born in Cardiff, Wales, from Brazilian parents, December the 2nd 1971, Carlos spent his childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, moving to Vitoria, a few kilometres north, in the state of Espirito Santo. In the middle 80's the passion for rock puts Carlos Bernardo in the path of music. The guitar was his first instrument and first invitation to improvisation. A few years later he signs his first work with his group, the Con'fusion Jazz co.. From this moment on, he starts to work with other artists and to gain experience as a guitarist on stage and in the studios.In 1995 he records his first solo album: Pacifico, with a jazz-fusion quintet, his compositions putting together his influences from rock, jazz and Brazilian music. .In 1998 Carlos Bernardo made a short visit to the Théâtre du Soleil in Paris where he met the composer and musician Jean-Jacques Lemêtre
