The Wall Of Jazz

Born:

The Wall Of Jazz is a brand new, unique, and exciting Dallas-based Jazz music ensemble that gets underway this coming Summer (2009). The ensemble will perform both 1970s-era Jazz/Funk "cover" selections as well as its own original compositions within its repertoire. Check out some of the powerful "cover" selections that you can expect to both experience and enjoy immensely at this link! Just a few of the 1970s Jazz/Funk pioneers that you can expect to discover The Wall Of Jazz paying homage to include; Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Lenny White, Dr. Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, Roy Ayers, The Crusaders, and many more such Jazz luminaries. If you are someone who enjoys this era of Jazz, but who has been missing hearing it for far too long and feel that your musical taste has been overlooked, don't miss this powerful ensemble that presents some of the finest musical talent, not only in the DFW Metroplex, but also some of the finest talent in the world. The ensemble's future includes both recording and performance projects that will involve international travel as well. As an extensive alternate roster is maintained for this musical group, Dallas area Jazz musicians and Jazz vocalists are encouraged to contact us and register their complete information for possible inclusion in upcoming performances.
