The South Shore Syncopators

The ten-piece South Shore Syncopators Dance Orchestra and their roster of fine vocalists bring the era of radio back to life, featuring the music of Paul Whiteman, Ted Weems, Bing Crosby, Al Jolson and others. Enjoy the you-are-there feeling as they recreate a pre-swing era, remote broadcast complete with announcer, period-style commercials, comedic banter and, of course, the great music of the time. The Syncopators repertoire includes “I Wanna Be Loved by You,” “By a Waterfall” and “You Oughta Be in Pictures.” The South Shore Syncopators are dedicated to performing the music of the pre-swing decade of 1924-1934 and play only from authentic printed scores of the time
