The South Shore Syncopators
Enjoy the you-are-there feeling as they recreate a pre-swing era, remote broadcast complete with announcer, period-style commercials, comedic banter and, of course, the great music of the time. The Syncopators repertoire includes “I Wanna Be Loved by You,” “By a Waterfall” and “You Oughta Be in Pictures.”
The South Shore Syncopators are dedicated to performing the music of the pre-swing decade of 1924-1934 and play only from authentic printed scores of the time. If you want to hear what the 1920s and 30s truly sounded like, the South Shore Syncopators Dance Orchestra does not imitate the music of the time; they recreate it, bringing it vividly to life for a whole new generation of music lovers.
