Terence Collie

Born:

Terence Collie is a London-based pianist, composer and bandleader, and a recipient of the MOBO Amplified Award. His work is rooted in contemporary jazz, combining strong melodic writing with a focus on interplay, groove and improvisation. Performing in formats ranging from piano trio to larger ensembles, his music balances structure with spontaneity and a clear, personal voice.

He has appeared at leading UK venues and festivals including PizzaExpress Jazz Club, Cadogan Hall, the EFG London Jazz Festival and the Brecon Jazz Festival. His performances are characterised by tight ensemble playing, dynamic contrast and a strong connection with audiences.
