Eric Mullins

Eric started piano lessons at a young age and took up the saxophone at age 12. After high school Eric joined legendary blues singer Bobby “Blue” Bland’s group and spent the next year and a half playing the performing across North America in nightclubs, theatres, and at venues such as the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Chicago Blues Festival, and the Essence Festival in New Orleans. Eric studied music at The University of Louisville, The University of Memphis, and graduated in 2003 with a B.F.A. from New School University in New York City. He also has also performed at the University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana and in Tokyo, Japan with the Gospel Voices of Memphis. Having a great passion for education, Eric taught K-12 music for 13 years in public and private schools

David Bernot is a jazz saxophonist living in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Gilbert, Arizona David moved to the mile high city in 2012 to study jazz saxophone at the University of Denver and recently he received his Masters degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. He performs as a band leader and a freelance musician in a variety of musical styles from Jazz to Funk and EDM (Electronic Dance Music), and he teaches music as a private instructor as well as with the youth jazz organization Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts. David is also an award winning jazz composer, most notably selected two times to be a recipient of the Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer award.

Don Hanson

Don Hanson is a saxophonist, composer and educator with a wealth of musical experience across many genres, whose compositions are a reflection of his spiritual journey.

Don's album "Echoes Of Light" is a collection of originals that combine the joy of Jazz with the Spirit of the WORD.

Originally from Dobbs Ferry New York, Don's family relocated to the North Bronx when he was two years old after the death of his father. He began playing clarinet at 11 years old and alto sax at 13.

While attending the Bronx High School Of Science, he didn't participate in the music program, but began working professionally with a local Funk band at 16 years old.

Zoh Amba is a composer, saxophonist, and flutist from Tennessee. Her music blends avant-garde, noise, and devotional hymns. Before studying music at the San Francisco Conservatory Of Music, New England Conservatory and studying with David Murray in New York, she spent most of her time writing and practicing saxophone in the forest near her home. Today, her powerfully unique avant-garde music is full of folk melodies, mesmerizing refrains, and repeated incantations. Amba released two records in 2022, her debut record O, Sun which was produced by John Zorn and released on the prestigious label Tzadik

Sue Orfield

Born:

Sue Orfield is an award winning tenor saxophonist, composer and educator who tours internationally and has recorded on hundreds of albums. She makes her home in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin, where in addition to teaching privately and writing/arranging music, she freelances both as a side person and as a musical director.

From 2014 - 2017, Sue was the host of her own TV Show, The Sue Orfield Show, in which she featured local musicians/bands with interviews and a concert filmed in front of a live audience.

Over the years Sue has shared the stage with many musical greats, among them Bo Diddley, Bobby McFerrin, The Indigo Girls, Ann Wilson (Heart), Dizzy Gillespie, Ivan Neville, and Jo Dee Messina. She currently tours with The Tiptons Sax Quartet & Drums. The Tiptons have just recorded and released (April 2021) their 14th album, Wabi Sabi.  Her most recent recordings (Shifting Paradigm Records) were done with Take That Back, a Minneapolis-based jazz quintet:  Take That Back (2022) and Splash (2024).

Recognized by international media as one of the most interesting and creative European musicians and one of the greatest innovators in Polish jazz.

He has been nominated 18 times for Poland's Fryderyk award (Polish Grammy) in altogether 4 categories, winning the 2 most important statuettes - Jazz Musician of The Year and Jazz Album of The Year.

Since his arrival on the Seattle music scene in 2021, Jackson has collaborated with local luminaries such as Thomas Marriott, Marina Albero, Jessica Lurie, Matt Jorgensen, Julian Preister, Wayne Horvitz, John Bishop, Jimmy James, Joe Doria, D'vonne Lewis, Marc Seales, and many others. In his early adult years, Jackson had the pleasure of studying with Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, David Sanchez, and Julian Lage as well las local legends Alexey Nikolaev, Brian Kent, and Tobi Stone. In 2022 Jackson was recognized by the local organization Earshot Jazz first with a mention, then a magazine cover with a story, and then as the recipient of Earshot's "Emerging Artist of the Year" award
