Syna Awel takes us into his universe, made of tales and encounters, drawn from the depths of Kabylia, his country of origin. Stories she puts into words and music. Karim Ziad, drummer, percussionist arranged this project for a group in which we find around Syna and himself, David Aubaile on piano and flutes and Pierre Bonnet on bass. Sung in Berber language "Mazel Mazel" make us travel in oriental atmospheres, bendirs and derboukas are for many. But the piano also instills jazz or even pop harmonies. By listening, we will also hear some Occitan influences. Music doesn’t like borders
