British saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Hannah Horton releases her new single “Whisper,” a tender, baritone-led ballad drawn from her forthcoming album Stories on the Wind (Spring 2026).

Written as a dedication to her partner, Nick, “Whisper” is a deeply personal piece that reflects intimacy, resilience, and enduring connection. Composed in gratitude for his unwavering support through some of Horton’s most challenging moments — including the loss of her father — the track captures the quiet strength found in love and companionship. Lyrical, warm, and emotionally rich, the music unfolds with gentle space, allowing Horton’s expressive baritone saxophone voice to speak with rare vulnerability.

Recorded at Red Kite Studio with acclaimed producer Martin Levan (Barbara Thompson, June Tabor, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Neil Ardley), “Whispers” features Horton alongside Sam Leak (piano/organ), Rob Statham (electric bass), and Steve Taylor (drums and percussion). Together, they create a soft yet compelling backdrop that perfectly frames the song’s intimate narrative.

Horton's work has earned the admiration of Dexter Gordon’s widow, Maxine Gordon, who wrote the liner notes for Horton’s upcoming album, Stories On The Wind.
