Roots: Rehearsing bands, musical instruments and wires all over the place, the stage, the smell of the red velvet curtains, numerous concerts: Great memories of my childhood. I ‘grew up’ in a club, ran by my parents. There I breathed in and out the live atmosphere of music and theatre. Study: Back then it was called: Improvised music- main subject singing; at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. It was fertile soil for my musical and personal growth:a free spirited surrounding.
