Fred Haas, a Dartmouth graduate ('73), teaches Saxophone, Jazz Piano, Improvisation, Jazz History and Music Theory at Dartmouth College. He lives in Hartland, Vermont, and travels throughout New England and beyond performing and recording with a variety of musicians. Fred brings to each of his performances and workshops a depth of experience and knowledge from over thirty-five years as a jazz musician and educator. His goal is to communicate a broad range of emotions through music as well as share information about the history of jazz and the art of jazz improvisation. In 1997 Fred founded Interplay Jazz Camp, which provides an opportunity for musicians of all ages to participate in a relaxed and supportive learning environment with an experienced faculty that focuses on key aspects of the improvisational art of jazz

Gilbert Castellanos, renowned musician, composer, curator, educator and arranger based in San Diego, is one of the hottest jazz trumpeters in the United States today.  Adept in straight-ahead, as well as Latin and Afro Cuban jazz, Castellanos has become a leading figure of the vibrant, diverse and flourishing jazz scene in America’s Finest City. An established scene-maker on the West Coast, Castellanos is the Artistic Curator of both of the San Diego Symphony's highly successful jazz series - Jazz at The Jacobs and Bayside Summer Nights - which have featured some of today's brightest stars including ‪Gregory Porter‬, Chick Corea, ‪Chucho Valdes‬, ‪Dianne Reeves‬, ‪Cecile McLorin Salvant‬, John Faddis and more.  Castellanos’ talents are also renowned in the dance community

Linus Wyrsch is a Grammy Award-winning clarinetist and saxophonist. Originally from Switzerland, he has become one of New York City’s most sought-after woodwind players. Francis Hon

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Francis Hon (洪維浩) began playing classical piano at the age of six. In 2011, Francis moved to the United States to pursue a Doctorate in Piano Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studied with Gregory Allen, the Grand Prize winner of the 1980 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Francis was always influenced by a variety of musical genres, which formed the foundation of his future musical style. Francis ignited his passion for jazz music in Austin, “the live music capital of the world.” While continuing his classical piano studies, he took up jazz piano with Jeff Hellmer and started playing with many musicians on the Austin jazz scene. He also worked as the Assistant Artistic Director and Lead Pianist for “Life in the City,” a weekly concert with jazz music and other genres. Francis’ final doctorate thesis in the work of Nikolai Kapustin solidified his interest in combining elements of classical music with the jazz idiom.

Boaz Marva is a Guitarist, Composer, Singer and Arranger. Boaz has grown up in a musical environment and studied at the Charles E. Smith High School for the Arts in Jerusalem, Israel as a teen. He has later played in many projects and bands, Including Kivsus, Abrage, Scarcity, Mania D' Pressia, The CJS big band, and more. Since coming to New York City in late 2016 he has been surrounded and taught by some of the bigger names in the scene such as Sam Yahel, Doug Weiss, Peter Bernstein, Reggie Workman, David Schnitter and many others. In 2018 Boaz Graduated his BFA from The New School in Jazz Performance.

Lukas Gabric

Saxophonist, musicologist, and composer Lukas Gabric began his musical education at the Conservatory of Carinthia in his native country Austria. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New School University in New York, a Master of Arts from the City College of New York, a postgraduate Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School, and currently pursues a PhD in musicology at the City University of New York’s Graduate Center. Gabric was selected as a member of the European Generations Unit 2012 - an ensemble consisting of winners of the Swiss generations competition. In 2013 he was a semifinalist in the Thelonious Monk Competition in Washington D.C., placed third in the North American Saxophone Alliance Competition in Urbana-Champaign/IL 2014 and received the Best Soloist and Audience Choice Awards at the Getxo Jazz Festival 2014 in Spain

Grayson Brockamp

The oldest of five kids, Grayson Hackelman was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He first studied piano but then switched to the double bass in his middle school orchestra. Grayson attended North Carolina School of the Arts throughout high-school where he developed a strong foundation in classical and jazz music. ​ After obtaining his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, he relocated to New York City in 2010 where he completed his Master's Degree in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. His final presentation featured saxophonists Seamus Blake and Stephen Riley in a multimedia performance

This group of seven musicians was formed in August 2013 by Norbert and Daniel Gonzalez and was designed to showcase all original jazz compositions. These musicians tell a unique story with versatility, passion, discovery, and invention.
