Steinar Aadnekvam is one of the most active and most talked about young and upcoming guitarists on the Scandinavian jazz scene.

Born in 1984, he is a mature and soulful musician. A rare guitar virtuoso. An artist with a message. A person with something to say.

Despite his young age, he has been around. Born in Bergen, Norway, a son of travelling parents, he had the fortunes and misfortunes of growing up in many places throughout Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Luxembourg. After studies at Södra Latin music college in Stockholm he enters, at 18, the Bachelor Jazz studies at the Royal College of Music, also in Stockholm, where he stays for 2 years

Karl Olandersson

Born: August 8, 1978

Karl Olandersson is a jazz trumpet player from Sweden. Born in 1978. Started playing the trumpet at a very early age. Educated in Stockholm at "The Royal College Of Music" 1997-2001. He is now one of Swedens top trumpet players. His first record, "Introducing", was released in 2003. The second record "Plays Standars" is released 31 August 2010.

Johannes Zetterberg

Born: November 17, 1985

Johannes Zetterberg (a native of Stockholm, Sweden) was born on November 17, 1985. Growing up in a musical family, he was exposed to a lot of different music at an early age. "Well, being that my father's a countertenor with a soft spot for Oscar Peterson, I guess I quickly learned to appreciate classical music & jazz. On the other hand, there were groups & artists like Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Toto, Chicago & lots of others, all of which I found on my mother's mixtapes. It was like discovering a gold mine with all kinds of cool music, ranging from the hits of the 60's to the boy bands of the 90's! So yeah, it got pretty diverse right from the get-go." Martin Sjöstedt

Born: April 9, 1978

No doubt that Martin Sjöstedt is one of the most interesting musicians one the European jazz scene today. Not only is he one of the most indemand bassplayers around, he also plays the piano on the same level. Gunilla Törnfeldt

Born: June 19, 1980

Gunilla Törnfeldt is a jazz vocalist, composer, and educator based in Stockholm. Her career took off in 2002, when she began performing with leading Swedish jazz artists including Monica Dominique Quintet, Carl-Axel Dominique Trio, Georg Riedel, Jan Allan, and Ove Lundin. Since then, she has become a distinctive voice on the Swedish jazz scene as a singer, composer, and arranger. In 2006, she was awarded the Fasching Friends’ Scholarship for “seriously and with strong dedication striving to renew and develop jazz music and related genres.” Her critically acclaimed solo debut A Time for Everything (2009) was followed by Behind the Mask (2017).

Cecilia Wennerstrom

Born: April 21, 1947

Cecilia Wennerström is a saxophone player, composer and arranger, educated at the music academies in Malmoe and Gothenburg. She was born in 1947 and lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
In 2013 she released her fourth solo CD "Lydian Mars" with a rhythm section containing Maria Kvist(p), Filip Augustson(b) and Jonas Holgersson(dr). The band on the recording session then formed Cecilia Wennerström New Quartet with Chris Montgomery replacing Holgersson on drums.
Other groups where Cecilia is a member are Wennerstrom Larsson Explicity (with her husband Sven Larsson) who released their first CD Tussilago in September 2011, and the octet LARS 8 which plays compositions by Lars Gullin and other Swedish jazz icons

Peter Knudsen

Born: March 22, 1980

Peter Knudsen started playing the piano and also began writing his own music at the age of 10, and discovered jazz and 20th century music as a teenager. Having worked for some years with adapting the music of Debussy and Ravel for jazz trio, Peter and his trio recorded Impressions- a tribute to Debussy and Ravel in 2008, released on Found You Recordings. During 2009-2010, the trio did two summer tours in France. The trio has also performed at Swedish jazz clubs, festivals and concert halls.

In 2010, he launched the project Peterson-Berger revisited, a quartet featuring Joakim Milder on Saxophone performing new arrangements of Swedish composer Wilhelm Peterson-Berger's music. In 2011, the group toured with the material and also recorded an album in the composer's home Sommarhagen. During the same year, Peter also formed the octet Peter Knudsen Eight and recorded the album Sagas of the Present featuring his own compositions. The album was released on the Italian label CAM Jazz and reviewed favorably by Down Beat, All About Jazz alongside European magazines. In 2016, Knudsen was commissioned to write new big band compositions for the acclaimed Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, resulting in the folklore-inspired suite Nature Spirits, also released as an album with the same name by Do Music Records in 2019. During 2015-2016, Knudsen also toured in Brazil on two occasions with a Brazilian-Swedish trio featuring drummer Kiko Freitas, as a part of a teacher exchange. Around the same time he started working with the group Derupeto, an international quartet with members from Sweden, Brazil and Mozambique. The group released their debut album Derupeto in 2020.

Christian Herluf Pedersen

Born: April 4, 1975

Christian Herluf Pedersen was originally born in small town Skals in Denmark, where is fathers love and devotion for music inspired him to pick up the saxophone at the age of 11. In 1996 he traveled to USA to attend Berklee College of Music, but after 1 year he decided to move back to Denmark to work as a musician. In 1998 he moved to Sweden to study saxophone from Cennet Jönsson at Fridhems Folkhögskola, and then on to Stockholm where he was accepted at the Royal Music Conservatory. In 2006 he completed his studies in Stockholm (studied from Joakim Milder and Karl-Martin Almqvist among others) and has been working as a freelance musician since! Christian Herluf Pedersen is a well known member of various ensembles across many different genres and emerged in 2009 as a band leader and composer on his debut album “Christian Herluf Pedersen - Alliance”. Christian Herluf Pedersen is playing and touring Sweden and Europe with, among others: Alliance, Transatlantic, Ahmadu Jarr & the Highlife Orchestra, Big Band Splash, JnJO, Danny and the Cappers, Azimuth 3 +1, Lil Gizelle and various DJ’s.

"CubaJazzJuanquy" have played on the Swedish National tv channel, composed music for a Swedish Radio Tv advertisement, Radio Sörmlands and have played in many jazz clubs in Stockholm such as Klubben Village, Fasching, Stampen, Nalen, Mosebacken, Glenn Miller Bildösound and many others all over Scandinavia.
