James McClure

South African trumpet player and composer James McClure presents his deeply personal Debut Album on Molk Records (27 February 2026). He is a powerful emerging voice within Amsterdam’s experimental music community, known for his mesmerising sound, patience and sensibility. This is a bold and introspective work that invites deep listening. It is rooted in emotion, free improvisation and progressive thought with traces of heritage, while the album is held together by a recurring lullaby written in response to violence and global unrest. It is a call for change, reflection and healing that feels ever more relevant and increasingly urgent. 

The Inter Section

The Inter Section is a collective of musicians from around the world recording contemporary jazz that is melodic and easily approachable. The songs meld the sounds and rhythms of Pop, R&B, Soul, Latin and World music and presents them in a jazz context.

The Inter Section's music is written and produced by Steve Ehrlich from his (necessary) sofa as he suffers from Chronic Lyme Disease. He offers an example for others with similar limitations of what is possible even when their everyday lives have been turned upside down.

Proceeds from the sale of The Inter Section's music are donated to lymedisease.org and Bay Area Lyme Foundation.

Nick Ford

Nick Ford is a South African jazz artist known for his dynamic and forward-thinking approach to music. Blending jazz traditions with innovative composition, he has established himself both within the South African and global music scenes. His career reflects a deep commitment to storytelling, technical excellence, and forging a meaningful connection with audiences.

Nick’s musical journey began with his early experiences as a bassist. His talent quickly gained recognition, earning him a place in the National Schools Jazz Band in 2018 and 2019—a formative experience that laid the foundation for his emerging career in jazz.
