Will Boyd

Multi-reed instrumentalist, composer, educator Will Boyd hails from soul sax tradition like artists Eddie Harris, David Newman, and Houston Person. Originally from Orangeburg SC by way of Queens NY, Will currently resides in Knoxville TN. He is a member of the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra and currently has 2 solo albums “Live at the Red Piano Lounge” and “Freedom Soul Jazz”. Will also co-leads a group with Wife, jazz radio host, and founder of the Knoxville Women in Jazz Jam Festival Kelle Jolly.  Will was playing with professional local R&B groups before he was 18. He then received more training at the music program at South Carolina State University where he received BA in Music Business and met future wife vocalist Kelle Jolly

Claudia Campagnol

Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Claudia Campagnol is one of Denmark's young rising stars on the jazz scene – with a broad crossover appeal and a huge international potential. Claudia has been playing and composing music since she was just 4 years old. Already as a child she was clearly focused on creating a musical career – and she has never looked back since. Claudia Campagnol is a versatile and charismatic artist with an incredible voice and a unique, broad and very personal musical expression. Her sound is warm and soulful, but at the same time captivating dynamic and with a clear jazz reference, showcasing an impressive flair for improvisation and vocal arrangements. Claudia has a deep rooted affection for jazz fusion, but she also takes a lot of inspiration from soul, pop and R&B

Jakob Norgren

Jakob Norgren is a Swedish saxophonist, composer, arranger and big band leader. Main instruments are baritone sax, tenor sax, clarinet, bass clarinet and contra alto clarinet. He started his orchestra, initially named Jakob Norgren Big Band Splash, in 2004 and first released two albums that mixed contemporary jazz with soul/R&B. From 2010 Jakob let the band develop into a pure soul-jazz/R&B orchestra under the shortened name Big Band Splash, while introducing Jakob Norgren Jazz Orchestra (with almost the same members) where he could refine his contemporary jazz writing. Jakob Norgren is the arranger and producer of all his albums

Robert Kennedy

Robert Kennedy currently plays jazz organ and piano in straight-ahead settings, and accordion in the Gypsy Jazz group Mission Hot Club.

Born and raised in the American South, Robert has lived and worked in the San Francisco bay area since 1988. He played piano in the Stanford University Jazz Band and studied jazz piano with the great jazz pianist, band director, and educator Bill Bell. Robert was a founding member of the groups Hip Pocket Jazz Quintet and Double Funk Crunch, and has had the pleasure of playing venues such as Yoshi's, the Boom Boom Room, the Agenda Lounge (back in the day) and the SFJAZZ Miner Auditorium with renowned players such as Nancy Wright, Calvin Keys, Will Weston, Terrence Brewer, and many more, playing jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll. Among his many inspirations Robert counts the playing of Jack McDuff, Billy Childs, Larry Goldings, Herbie Hancock, and Tony Monaco.

Francis Hon

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Francis Hon (洪維浩) began playing classical piano at the age of six. In 2011, Francis moved to the United States to pursue a Doctorate in Piano Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studied with Gregory Allen, the Grand Prize winner of the 1980 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Francis was always influenced by a variety of musical genres, which formed the foundation of his future musical style. Francis ignited his passion for jazz music in Austin, “the live music capital of the world.” While continuing his classical piano studies, he took up jazz piano with Jeff Hellmer and started playing with many musicians on the Austin jazz scene

Music Carolyn

Carolyn Richardson, aka Music Carolyn, is a singer, songwriter, and music supervision executive. Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Texas, she cut her teeth and got her first big break here in Chicago before going on to settle down in Los Angeles. In addition to her work in the world of music supervision with her company, Music 4 Scenes, Music Carolyn is a highly sought after recording artist and session musician in her own right. She has been featured as a background vocalist on a number of songs on Grammy-nominated Lukas Graham’s latest album 3 (The Purple Album). And has also shared the stage with Kathleen Battle as a soloist, and performed with Aretha Franklin’s musical director Damien Sneed

Laurent Doumont

LAURENT DOUMONT Saxophone player, singer, songwriter. LAURENT DOUMONT is a saxophone player, singer-songwriter from Brussels, mainly in the Soul Jazz idiom. He was part of Daniel Romeo’s band from 1999 to 2008. He also played for the entertaining show Improsessions. Throughout the concerts, Laurent worked alongside Fred Wesley, Michel Hatzigeorgiou, Eric Legnini, Dré Pallemaerts, Flavio Boltro, Paco Sery... His horns section, with Olivier Bodson (tp) and Alain Palizeul (tb), had the chance to perform with Boney M, George Mc Crae, Percy Sledge, and even, on a very special evening, with James Brown. He now co-leads and plays with Marc Lelangue and Patrick Dorcean in the New- Orleans rhythm & blues group, The Heavy Muffulettas. His project Alligator Boogaloo pays tribute to one of his great soul-jazz influences, Lou Donaldson. Since 1998, Laurent Doumont has been leading his own band, in which the finest Belgian musicians have participated. His first album, Soul Quintet, was released in 2001. In 2012, his second personal album Papa Soul Talkin’ was released, produced by Daniel Romeo, with Vincent Bruyninckx, Sal La Rocca Lionel Beuvens and many great guests

Mo Egeston

Maurice "Mo" Egeston is a pianist, band leader and educator from St. Louis, Missouri. He spends his musical time leading bands and writing music while also working as a collaborative artist, accompanist and educator in both the classroom and private studio. A longtime veteran of the St. Louis music scene, Mo currently leads Mo E All-Stars who released their debut album in 2017. He also hosts a weekly event called Late Nights Grooves @ Dark Room at the Grandel through his residency with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation. He first emerged as a band leader in the 1990s with regional favorites Vargas Swing

The enduring success of Incognito is one of the great stories of UK music during the last four decades. Look at the recent history of soulful UK artists and you will find any number of short-lived acts that have achieved pop success. Narrow it down to those that have created a uniquely British sound and have endured as a global phenomenon on their own terms, and the list becomes short. Dues, then to Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick and Incognito, formed in 1979 and celebrating almost 40 years of positive vibes and undiluted Jazz Funk and Soul. A central component of the band’s massive and passionately loyal fan base has always been their powerful and energetic live shows. The band has never lost it’s creative drive since conception
