Nacho Valenciaga
Juan Ignacio Sánchez Hernández (Madrid, 1967) is a composer, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose career is as diverse as it is refined. Known artistically as Nacho Valenciaga, and through his alternative projects lofiATTICUS and the modern crooner ZANE, his bass guitar stands as the emblem of a craft shaped through decades of musical exploration.
Career and Signature Style
Since beginning at age 14 on drums, Valenciaga has explored virtually the entire instrumental spectrum: bass, double bass, stick bass, guitars, piano, synthesizers, and saxophone—mastering the art of performing and producing his own compositions.
Since 2012, his main catalog has been masterfully oriented toward Smooth Jazz, Soul, and R&B, while also composing for film, television, and advertising.
"To dream songs and bring them into the world with craft, curiosity, and elegance." This conviction, inspired by his life partner Julia, runs through every note of his work.
