Eyran Katsenelenbogen

Eyran Katsenelenbogen is a pianist who has performed throughout the world. In 2019, he released his latest solo album, titled Outstandards, with a concert tour that included venues in the U.S., Europe and Israel. Katsenelenbogen's recordings have been reviewed by jazz publications such as Jazziz, JazzTimes, Jazz Journal International and All About Jazz, which stated in its recent review of Eyran’s previous release: "88 Fingers is truly a virtuoso's work. Perhaps Katsenelenbogen is most in league with Art Tatum for this fact: he sets the bar towards which other pianists must strive." Yaniv Taubenhouse

Born:
Having received his first piano lessons at the age of six, Israeli native Yaniv Taubenhouse graduated from the Thelma-Yellin high school of the arts in Tel Aviv. Upon graduation, he went on to study with gifted Israeli instructors such as Dr. Assaf Zohar, Ms. Hanna Shalgi, and Prof. Benjamin Oren. Masterclasses and lessons in the U.S. and Europe included work with jazz and classical pianists such as Richard Goode, Brad Mehldau, Robert McDonald, and Sonia Rubinsky.
In December 2009. Yaniv came to New York to study with pianist Pavlina Dokovska and in the fall of 2010, he moved to Fayetteville Arkansas to study with pianist Jura Margulis in the piano performance program at the University of Arkansas. Yaniv’s work with Jura Margulis included lessons at the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg Austria.
Yaniv has performed extensively at different venues and festivals around the world such as the Salle Cortot hall (Paris), Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Tel Aviv Museum, Bern Jazz Festival, Kfar Blum International Chamber Music Festival, Borja Jazz Festival, The Walton Art Center, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music (NY), Vicenza Jazz Festival, and live performance broadcasts on NPR affiliate, KUAF, 91.3 FM, to name a few.
Yaniv has played and performed with musicians such as David Schnitter, Ronald McClure, Roswell Rudd, Jorge Rossy, Peter Bernstein, Ari Hoenig, Geroge Coleman, Orlando Le Fleming, Anat Cohen, and Will Vinson, among many others.
‘Here from There' is Yaniv’s debut album as a leader which was released in December 2014 on Fresh Sound Records and was well received by the press. The album was recorded in January 2013 and it features Darren Novotny on drums and Garrett Jones on bass, both Arkansas Native musicians.
In August of 2013, Yaniv moved to New York City, where he also received a scholarship to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and graduate with a BFA degree. Currently, Yaniv performs and records regularly in New York and internationally with numerous projects, both as a leader and as a sideman.
The Yaniv Taubenhouse Trio, featuring Rick Rosato (bass) and Jerad Lippi (drums), comes from a long lineage of musical influences both in and out of the jazz world. The group's repertoire features originals by Taubenhouse, Rosato, and Lippi as well as standards. The trio has recorded and released three critically-acclaimed albums in the Moments in Trio series. The three volumes (‘Moments in Trio - Volume One’, ‘Perpetuation - Volume Two’ and ‘Moments in Trio Volume Three: Roads’) have been released on Fresh Sound Records.

Susanna Lindeborg, piano,keyboard, composer. After receiving a classical education she came during the 70th into contact with improvised jazz music, which became an important source of inspiration.
What you first think of together with Susanna Lindeborg is her virtuouso play on the piano mixed with electronic instruments, which has been known most of all through the group {{m: Mwendo Dawa = 19835}}, which she is the leader of together with saxophone player {{m: Ove Johansson = 17430}}. {{m: Mwendo Dawa = 19835}} has been succesfully touring in 25 countries in Europe, North and South America, China performing at festivals like Montreux, Northsea and Montreal. The last few years she has been regularly visiting USA and Canada with {{m: Mwendo Dawa = 19835}}. Susanna also writes a lot of the repertoire for the group.

Renato Diz is a Portuguese pianist, composer and producer based in New York. Born in Porto, Portugal, Renato studied classical piano exclusively for 12 years, under the tutelage of Dr. Rui Pintão, at Fundação Conservatório Regional de Gaia. A chance encounter with jazz at a concert by pianist and composer Carlos Azevedo, introduced him to the world of improvised music and he decided to pursue his studies in this art. Matthew Shipp was born December 7, 1960 in Wilmington, Delaware. He started piano at 5 years old with the
regular piano lessons most kids have experienced. He fell in love with jazz at 12 years old. After moving to New
York in 1984 he quickly became one of the leading lights in the New York jazz scene. He was a sideman in the
David S. Ware quartet and also for Roscoe Mitchell's Note Factory before making the decision to concentrate on

Michael Jefry Stevens

I was born in New York City in 1951 and received my MA in Music from Queens College in 1992 where I studied with Jimmy Heath, Sir Roland Hanna, Thea Musgrave, Sol Berkowitz and Donald Byrd. I was the Margaret Lee Crofts Fellow at "The MacDowell Colony" in the summer of 2000 and received 2nd prize in the Monaco International Jazz Composition. In 2006 I was a Composer Fellow at Centrum Arts in Port Townsend, WA. I am a "Steinway Artist". I have been and continue to be an active pianist/composer and band leader for the past 40 years. I have released over 100 cds of my original music on numerous jazz record labels including Leo Records (England), Drimala Records (VA), Soul Note Records (Italy), Konnex Records Germany), Music and Arts (CA), Cadence Records (NY), Red Toucan Records (Canada), GM Recordings (MA) 482 Music (NY), Unit Records (Switzerland), Nottwo Records (Poland), Cadence Jazz (USA), Playscape recordings, ForTune Records (Poland), Artist's Recording Collective (USA) and several other labels
