Guitarist, composer, and songwriter born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Roy Ben Bashat was recognized as a prodigy from a young age and was accepted into the jazz music department at the prestigious Thelma Yelin school for the arts. During high school, he played with renowned jazz artists in Israel and performed at local venues and festivals. In 2017, he was granted a full schoarship from Berklee College of Music, and relocated to Boston in 2018. 

Roy Ben Bashat graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2022. Shortly after moving to NYC, Ben Bashat started playing with some of the Jazz leaders in the city, including Luis Perdomo, Eric McPherson, Lex Korten, Noah Preminger, among others.

Jazz is a storytelling art, and vocalist/lyricist/composer Joan Watson-Jones, who calls Derry, New Hampshire and New York City home, has a story to tell.

Armed with a master’s degree in music education from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, Watson-Jones had a long and successful teaching career in The Bronx and in New England. But the jazz seed had been growing in her ever since she was a child in Harlem, where she took piano and tap lessons at the age of four. Later, she learned to play guitar and drums, and was coached and mentored by the late singer Joyce Bryant.

Canadian vocalist Kari van der Kloot presents an exciting new voice on the horizon. Living somewhere in the space between jazz and folk, Kari’s compositions fit seamlessly into a tradition of great Canadian singer-songwriters, such as Joni Mitchell, while still honoring her roots in jazz music.

The current iteration of the Kari van der Kloot Quintet features a stellar cast of New York based musicians, including Canadian violinist Lisanne Tremblay, Canadian pianist Jamie Reynolds, bassist Gary Wang and drummer Nathan Ellman-Bell. The live show keeps the listeners on their toes, from full-on intricately arranged ensemble playing, to four-part vocal harmonies and intimate dialogues between the voice and violin. Currently based in New York and playing at venues such as Rockwood and Cornelia Street Cafe, Kari’s project is exciting new fans with her highly original music. Ella Mar

Born: August 5, 1993

Ella Mar is 26-year-old Israeli multi-genre singer, songwriter and guitarist Hila Tako. During her mandatory military service, she studied at a branch of The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music (Manhattan) in Tel Aviv Conservatory, always feeling like a bit of an alien. In a decisive break from tradition, instead of completing her bachelor studies by singing jazz classics in elegant dresses and heels, she made the decision to grab her guitar(s) and unleash the dark and gifted singer- songwriter she was all along. In 2016, Mar teamed up with Shahar Elisof, an Israeli producer whose signature ambient sounds, delicate string arrangements and beats brought new life to Ella Mar’s music

VICTOR JANUSZ— Popular Seattle-based Singer-Pianist has worked regularly at Saltys On Alki (14 Years, Resident "Weekend Brunch Pianist") Columbia Tower Club, Canlis, and Aqua/El Gaucho, to name a few.
