Ingrid Gerstmann

Ingrid Gerstmann is a jazz vocalist and composer living in New York City. In August 2024 she  released her first 6-song EP of all original work, "Ingrid Gerstmann Quartet Live at Silvana." She has played gigs at Smalls, Symphony Space, Silvana, Club Bonafide, and The West End. She has also performed with the Louis Armstrong Jazz Performance Program at Columbia University and the New York Jazz Workshop. After covering standards and popular songs, in 2024 Gerstmann pivoted to performing all orginal work. She performs most often as a quartet with John Austria on piano, Donald Nicks on bass, and Taru Alexander on drums. Gerstmann has also played with Ben Rosenblum, Keith Jordan, Bruce Cox, Russell Carter II, Andrea Venezianni, Andrew Schiller, Tony Mapp, and Jesse Crawford.
