Sarah Politte

With a voice described as "chocolate melting," Sarah Politte breathes new life into the timeless classics of the Great American Songbook. Her artistry is deeply inspired by the mastery of Sarah Vaughan, Julie London, and Chet Baker. This two-time All-State Jazz Vocalist masterfully blends a modern charm with the technical precision and classic style of a seasoned jazz Vocalist.

Sarah is currently preparing for the September 18, 2026 release of her highly anticipated debut EP: In Wonderland. Recorded at Marigny Studios, the project was produced by Grammy-winning producer and sound engineer Justin Armstrong. 

Tom Ricci

Tom Ricci is an Argentine-American jazz vocalist, guitarist and songwriter based in Southern California. Born in Buenos Aires, his music brings together vocal jazz, bossa nova, blues, tango, Latin American song and contemporary material. His singing is intimate and conversational, while his guitar playing moves between Brazilian rhythm, jazz harmony and the expressive vocabulary of blues and rock.

Raised between Argentina and the United States, Ricci developed a musical identity shaped by movement between cultures. His repertoire includes American standards, Brazilian songs, Argentine classics, original compositions and modern songs reimagined through a jazz lens. He has performed throughout the United States and internationally in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, China, Taiwan and Europe, including appearances at Borges 1975 in Buenos Aires, Jazz Nos Fundos in São Paulo, Sappho Live Jazz in Taipei, a sold-out performance at LAVO in Shenzhen and The Troubadour in Los Angeles.

Alice Black

Born: April 27

Alice Black is a jazz singer, pianist, educator abs song-writer based in Surrey in the UK. She has years of experience performing on the UK jazz and big-band scenes and has worked with many of the top UK jazz musicians. After years of learning and performing the repertoire of the great American song book, Alice is now writing, recording and releasing (and performing) her own material. She plans to release several more original jazz and soul songs over the next few months.

Chiara Izzi

Born: May 22

Based in New York City since 2014, Chiara Izzi is an award-winning jazz singer and composer from Italy who has captivated audiences worldwide. Her breakthrough came when she won first prize at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition, a victory personally awarded by the legendary Quincy Jones, who chaired the jury. The following year, Chiara returned to the festival to perform and open for the iconic Paco de Lucía. She has since earned numerous accolades, including an Independent Music Award for Best Jazz Song with Vocals for her composition "Circles of the Mind," as well as national honors such as Lucca Jazz Donna, third place in the Chicco Bettinardi soloist category, and recognition in the Barga Jazz group category.

David Rivera

Born: September 1, 1983

David Rivera is a hot Puerto Rican singer/songwriter/drummer who is going places.  In fact, he and his band have just been selected to appear at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall for the 2026 GLOBALFEST on January 11.  And, he has already shared the stage with noted artists such as Puerto Rican singers Pedro Capó and Obie Bermudez, Nicaraguan singer Luis Enrique, singer/songwriter Danny Rivera, saxophonist/composer Miguel Zenon, bandleader/singer Gilberto Santa Rosa and many others.

David and his group “La Bambula" offer a mix of tropical elements seamlessly combined with R&B and hip hop as well as the powerful dance music of the Caribbean from the 1970s and then the music is overlayed with modern, provocative lyrics.  His music attracts an audience that enjoys the risk of listening to new rhythms and sounds.

Saku Mantere

Born: April 3, 1974

Saku Mantere is a Finnish-born, Montréal-based jazz vocalist and composer, whose music explores the borderlands between jazz, poetry, and storytelling. His debut album Upon First Impression (2022, Orchard of Pomegranates) received acclaim for its narrative lyricism, stylistic range, and elegant arrangements. Mantere’s supple, story-driven vocal style has drawn comparisons to Kurt Elling and Leonard Cohen, balancing jazz phrasing with singer-songwriter intimacy. With Divine Apology, Mantere continues to chart an original path in vocal jazz, connecting personal narrative with musical exploration.

Jason LaPierre is a singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist, and producer known for crafting rich, emotive soundscapes that blend jazz, R&B, and singer-songwriter influences into a distinct, evolving style. Since his independent debut in 2020, he has amassed over 10 million streams, garnered nearly 300,000 monthly listeners, and landed on numerous Spotify editorial playlists. His music has also gained global recognition, including a special CD compilation, Jason LaPierre for Quiet Corner, entirely dedicated to his work and distributed across Japan.

Amy Bormet

Currently living in Los Angeles, Amy K. Bormet is an in-demand pianist, vocalist, and composer. The quintet from her debut album, Striking, was featured as part of the Mary Lou Williams Jazz Festival at the Kennedy Center. As an advocate for women in music, Amy created the Washington Women in Jazz Festival in 2011 and continues to serve as executive director. Amy K Bormet’s latest project, Ephemera, is a platform for her new art songs with improvisation. Ephemera performed a two-week tour of Sweden in the fall of 2015.
