Diego Lipnizky started elaborating the idea of the band in Madrid a year ago, working on composition. The prospect of a life change, moving to Paris, gave him great inspiration and emotions... It appeared vital to translate it into music. The instrumentation of this project is fast emerging as a sextet, despite the difficulties that this implies in terms of composition and production. The texture of the trumpet/flugelhorn is in Diego’s mind when writing the melodic lead, and the alto saxophone for bringing the second voice and counterpoints. The guitar must be a polyrhythmic element : playing a line that meets the melody, complements the harmony and gives a rhythmic definition.
