Nicolas Lanctôt, a Monteal based musician, was introduced to music at a very young age. Having always had a love for music, he began taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and played trombone during high school. It is however at the age of fifteen that he started learning how to play the guitar and found out that he wanted to become a professional musician. Having studied music in college and in university allowed Nicolas to make many connections in the montreal music scene. The city's culturally diverse population has also allowed him to learn a wide variety of different styles, as he has accompanied arists from Haiti, Mali, the Dominican Republic, and many more

Amina Figarova

Amina Figarova is without doubt one of the most productive jazz composers and talented jazz piano players from Europe. Now living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, born in Baku, Azerbaijan, Amina started playing piano and composing at a very early age. She studied as a classical concert pianist at the Baku Conservatory, jazz performance at the Rotterdam Conservatory and the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Amina performs with her own group at many jazz festivals and jazz clubs around the world, such as The North Sea Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Capetown International Jazzfestival, Salvador Bahia Jazz Festival, Brasil, JakArt Festival, Indonesia, Yoshi's in Oakland, CA, Blue Note jazz club New York, and has given concerts in Israel, Europe, United Arabs Emirates, Mexico, USA, Azerbaijan, and many others. Recorded her first CD "Attraction" in 1994, a start of a wonderful career as pianist and composer, a CD with all compositions and arrangements of Amina, almost all the music on her CDs are composed by herself.

Engin Ozsahin

Engin Özşahin is a jazz pianist and composer. He was born in 1986 and lived in Istanbul, Turkey until his late twenties. His first musical influence was his grandmother, who played classical piano by Schubert, Rachmaninoff and Chopin. At age 6, Engin started to learn classical piano himself and became very interested in the melodies and harmonies of aforementioned classical composers. Although music and performing was Engin’s passion, his cultural and family environment which consisted of engineers and architects suggested that these professions were the way to go in life. As a result, he completed mechanical engineering and business administration degrees in Istanbul and worked as a business developer in corporate environments following that. Alongside his college studies and work, Engin excelled at playing Chopin and Rachmaninoff preludes, and got interested in jazz
