His adaptable and chameleon-like style has allowed him to master a variety of genres that push beyond the traditional sound of jazz by incorporating elements of Funk, R&B, Soul and Fusion. Seth has been immersed in music since he was a young boy. Seth’s father had a collection of big band jazz, Dave Brubeck, Ahmad Jamal albums among others, Seth’s father, John Burkhart was a fan of jazz among other styles of music. He was a high school art teacher and an artist. Seth's artistic playing style, rock solid timing and business savvy quickly made him rise to the level of band leader in know time
