Seth Burkhart

Seth Burkhart is a multi-talented and well-respected band-leader and internationally known drummer. His adaptable and chameleon-like style has allowed him to master a variety of genres that push beyond the traditional sound of jazz by incorporating elements of Funk, R&B, Soul and Fusion.

Seth has been immersed in music since he was a young boy. Seth’s father had a collection of big band jazz, Dave Brubeck, Ahmad Jamal albums among others, Seth’s father, John Burkhart was a fan of jazz among other styles of music. He was a high school art teacher and an artist.

Seth's artistic playing style, rock solid timing and business savvy quickly made him rise to the level of band leader in know time. Seth has been performing, directing, touring, instructing drum clinics, and recording full time for the last 35 years.
