Sergio Xcaer
Born:
Originally from Yucatan Mexico, guitarist and composer, Born in 1980 .
At the age of 11 got interested into music and
started taking Guitar lessons with private teachers, and by 15, he was
playing gigs with his local rock
band. In 1997 and 1998 he participates in 2nd and 3rd International Jazz
Seminaries offered by Berklee
College of Music in Mexico. from 1998 to 2002 he studies Classic Guitar at
the University in Veracruz
and harmony and improvisation with classical and jazz pianist/Composer
Alejandro Corona in Xalapa.
In 2002 travels to France to make formal studies in guitar, piano,
improvisation, harmony and
arrangements in "LE JAM" École Régionale de Jazz & Musiques du
Monde, obtainig a Degree Diploma,
also a Diploma from FNEIJ/MA "Federation Nationale des Ecoles de Jazz
& Musiques Actuelles" and a
Diploma in Modern Guitar by the Department of Jazz in the Conservatory
of Séte, France, under the
direction of french guitarist Louis Martinez
