His renowned skill in the altissimo (high) register of his Tenor Sax and his relentlessly soulful approach create an inimitable, distinctive voice. Lenny is self-taught - He joined TOP at age 18, and has appeared on-stage and on recordings with many pop and R&B artists like David Bowie, Joe Cocker, Talking Heads, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Rod Stewart and Little Feat. Lenny is a professor in the Jazz Studies department at New York University, and, when his schedule permits, performs clinics and concerts worldwide

Andrew Frankhouse

Born: November 6, 1984

Andrew Frankhouse picked up the saxophone at age 10, while growing up in the buzzing metropolis of Cedar Rapids, IA. He was fortunate to get his start in an exceptional public school music program, which gave him the opportunity to gain valuable experience playing in wind ensembles, big bands, pit orchestras, and stage bands. While living in Asheville, North Carolina he worked extensively with local and regional acts in jazz, jam band, funk, rock, and R&B contexts, playing all over the Southeast. Marius Neset

Born: January 2, 1985

Marius Neset (b. 1985) remembers his very first experiences as an instrumentalist, well before he took up the saxophone at the age of eight: “As a 5-year old kid, I got a drum set,” he says, “and it was the beginning of an incredibly exciting – and rhythmical, musical journey. From the beginning, it felt natural to me to play around with grooves in different odd meters, and play around with different polyrhythms too.” This particular focus, this ever-present sense of adventure are intrinsic to everything he does, whether working as a solo saxophonist, in a jazz quintet, as part of chamber ensembles or with big bands or symphony orchestras.

Born in Reykjavik, Iceland. Started playing clarinet and saxophone at an early age. Plays various styles ranging from avant garde jazz to balkan folkmusic. Has released numerous CD's on his label Rodent.

Deon Yates

Born: June 20, 1968

Saxophonist Deon Yates is not new to the music scene, and for the last few years he has been gaining popularity worldwide as a solo performer. Since being named runner up in the 2009 Capital Jazz Challenge, in Maryland, Deon has continued to make strides in his music career. Being chosen as one of only 10 artist nationwide to be featured on the first U.S. Smooth Jazz compilation CD "Jazz Infusion Vol. 1", released in 2010 and receiving endorsements from Sax Dakota brand Saxophones and Applied Microphone Technology Inc, Deon is on his way to establishing himself as a serious solo artist. Deon grew up on the East Side of Detroit where he was introduced to jazz by teachers Donald Washington, founder of the cutting edge ensemble Bird-Trane-Sco-Now, and music educator Hosea Taylor, whom Deon credits as being his musical father

Jim Ivy is an improviser and composer currently residing in Apopka, FL. His main form of expression is using reed instruments (in particular, saxophones) but he can also be found performing on shakuhachi, electronics, balloons, and an arsenal of game calls and whistles. He has worked with such International artists as Davey Williams, Wade Matthews, Simeon Coxe III, David Dove, Emily Hay, Kris Gruda, Jill Burton, and Doug Mathews.

Noah K is a composer, saxophonist and record producer from Topanga Canyon, CA. His music has been performed by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, JACK Quartet, SO Percussion, and others, in venues including Le Poisson Rouge, National Sawdust, Seiji Ozawa Hall, and The Stone. He leads the band Dollshot whose second album Lalande was released in 2019 and is currently developing an opera, Salvation, with screenwriter Hampton Fancher for which Fancher wrote the story and libretto. As a saxophonist, K has performed or recorded with Anthony Coleman, David Tronzo, Peter Erskine, Alan Pasqua, Rinde Eckert, Joe Morris, Mat Maneri and Joe Maneri, among others
